Yea, I didn't get an emo vibe from him at all. I definitely saw emotional...immaturity isn't the word. Stunted maturity. I'll go with that. He's definitely lost inside himself. And it showed. Driver did a great job making a 6'-something dude with crazy ass powers and a dark presence seem like he was a suffering boy more than a man. Like he's embraced the anger, yet he's conflicted with the Light and can't quite grasp the hate, yet still seems to be skipping over to suffering, like Yoda said about Sith order of one leading into one another. He's unique.I agree, too many people missed obvious point of "You are supposed to feel that way about him". It's funny (and lame at the same time) to hear people refer to him as Emo, given he is supposed to be emotionally unstable. I just think people try to use that word as a hip description of Kylo Ren, it pretty much comes off like your Dad using the word Emo to describe something.
Don't get me wrong, I've heard praise, too. It's just that negativity can sometimes sound the loudest on the internet.Interesting. From what I've seen/heard, he's one of the most praised elements about the film.
