People had an idea of what Ultron had to be. When its not like that, they feel disapointed.

"Ultron should....", "Ultron Could..." "Ultron seemed..." "Ultron was not as..." are not reviews. "Ultron Was..." is a review, good or bad. One reviews what things are. If one "reviews" things for what they are not, its a manifestation of personal bias. Wich is allright. Nothing wrong with it. Keep em coming. But its good to remember the difference.

I admit expectations play a part. I don't think people were really upset by Loki not being more powerful than all the avengers combined. But for some people like me it is a complaint about Ultron. I'm not really sure if its a fair complaint, just something I noticed and am kind of processing. I for one am not sure where I would put Ultron on the list of Marvel villains, but certainly one of the best ones.

Just completed seeing the film.

The opening scene was amazing. I'm talking cartoon-like action (in a good way) that showed off each of the team to accentuate their skills.

Ultron wasn't as interesting as I'd hoped. I thought he was captured really well in the Avengers: EMH cartoon. But in the film he was a little underwhelming. The humour was appreciated, but it would have been better if he was more cold and robotic. It sounded TOO much like Red from the Black List was chatting to our favourite heroes and there wasn't the same kind of powerful presence that made TWS so awesome.

I thought Vision looked great, but again, a bit under-whelmed, but blame that mostly on this film stuffed with too many characters. The audience cheered like mad when he picked up Thor's hammer though. That scene was perfect. I don't think I saw him phase though?

The death scene was a shock, and I nearly thought Hawkeye was on his way out too. The twins got to show off their skills, but the X-Men version of Quicksilver probably takes home the award for best iteration.

My favourite bits were the inter-team angst. It was very shocking when Tony and Bruce pretty much became the "monsters" for a while, and it's now fairly easy to see how Civil War may play out.

The mid-credits cameo was lacking a bit of meat, and unfortunately Marvel has conditioned their audience to hang around after credits, so everyone groaned at the end when the lights came on.

Ultron dies I'm assuming right? There's no room where he could potentially come back??

Ultron is essentially immortal. I haven't seen the film yet, but I know that he has access to the internet and makes numerous duplicates of himself. He could have backed himself up to any server in the world and/or hid multiple duplicates of himself anywhere.

It's really up to future filmmakers as to whether they want to take advantage of this or not, but the fact is that Ultron is far and away the easiest villain to believably resurrect.

Oh well at least Thanos realize now nobody can get the job done right so he does it himself

Was there any moment similar to the Loki-hulk scene in the first one??

Has to be the Vision's hammer moments. The part where he picks it up casually got the hardest laugh in my theatre, same level of cheering.

In terms of a moment that combines badassery with humor, possibly the part where Ultron get's triple blasted, admits with humor that he didn't expect this and gets hammered into the background.

The hulk moment from the first one will be the Vision moment in this one.

Didn't Joss said there will be no credit scene Im pretty sure everyone read it right?

Only hardcore fans would know that mate. The general audience who have been conditioned to hang around for something cool will be left disappointed. Not everyone follows this stuff online.

People at my theatre groaned too, seems the general public doesn't know and at this point expects a credit scene with every movie.

I would have said the moment where Hulk Buster machine-gun punches the Hulk in the face. That scene was priceless.

I like the go to sleep in Hulkbuster vs Hulk

Oh yeah, at my theatre the hulkbuster sleep moment was a very close second.

Its just that if some people spend three years thinking "oh my God, i cant wait to see this character to do this, this character to do that, this other one say this" and then the movie goes on a different direction, they will fill bad, even if it was The Godfather Part 2 quaility wise, not sayint that it is, or isnt, havent seen it yet. Too many people were asking people who had seen it if the only thing they WANTED happened. This is never a good way to aproach ANY movie.

By te way, im not saying this is the raeson some dislike it. Its one of the reasons i see not only to dislike it but to work against oneself´s possible enjoyment of it. Im pretty sure many others will dislike it for complete different reasons, lots of them, very valid ones. It is impossible not to have expectations, but we should make an effort not to add to them if its unnecesary.

I say it again, i havent seen the movie, it might disapoint me too, im not defending the movie itself, but there are attitudes that wont help people to enjoy anything. Then again, we are all humans, therefore, its not as esaily done as said, is it? But i think its worth a harder try.

So Ultron has Loki syndrome. Joss' more about the characters. Maybe Joss just doesn't write a super threatening villain. Not his style?

Can you explain what this moment was?

It's the same moment RetroNaz called out. Hulkbuster/Tony pins Hulk to the ground and holds his hulkbusterhand over Hulk's head. (Which is a new hand that attached itself to Hulkbuster after Hulk destroyed an arm previously.) The new hand has a sort of springy punch mechanism and Tony uses it to punch Hulk in the face... about 10-20 or so times. Tony holds Hulk to the ground while punching him and says something like "go to sleep, go to sleep" kinda praying it will work yet in a way he is sorry he has to do this. Hulkbuster really goes to town and you see Hulk getting brutally and endlessly facepunched. It's kind of a reverse brutality compared to the hulk-loki moment in the first movie, so it does work as an equally awesome moment.

Does Vision come off as more powerful than Thor comparison wise?
I also understand he throws Thor's hammer at Ultron is that true? And if he does is it effective....

I just came from the last full show at our cinema!

I enjoyed it like the first one! I watched it on IMAX and I must say, I think I would have enjoyed it better in 2D because the 3D glasses of IMAX makes everything darker and the actions were too fast paced to appreciate. Gonna watch again this week!

All right for the good stuff:

Definitely a strong start! Opening battle blew me away!

I really enjoyed the twins. Their power display was awesome! I like how QS speed is toned down a bit compared to DOFS. I think it depicts his level more accurately.

Wanda -- what a scene stealer! When Hawkeye said "If you walk that door, you're an Avenger" and DAMN SON SHE REALLY WALKED OUT THAT DOOR! :jd: Love her hexes and magic!

Finally, Black Widow gets to use a weapon that isn't just a pistol. She was really leveled up in this sequel.

Humor, humor, humor. It wouldn't be an MCU movie without those classical punch lines and awkward scenes. :)

Love the cameos! From Stan Lee, to Agent Carter and Falcon!

Epic battle was epic. Enough said. You could feel the unity in the battle. Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Vision and even War Machine, Nick Fury, and Maria Hill, and the rest of SHIELD! :pcg:

Things I liked the least:

The BW and Hulk thing felt a little sudden to me. :P

There were a couple of times I THINK I heard Olsen letting her American accent get the better of her.

And most of all, QS's death :( Man, I honestly thought the devastated and supercharged Wanda was gonna use some Omega level magic to bring QS back. Sigh, I feel that it was such a waste of character. :( I hope he can comeback in MCU somehow (exactly how, I don't know).

A few more hiccups here and there, but basically I enjoyed it a lot! Super!

I totally agree with you :) I tried to check my expectations at the door but it's really hard, especially considering I saw it at a 'first screening' with a bunch of fans where we also saw the first avengers in a mini marathon. As soon as the first movie ended I just got so pumped.. it gets you man..

It's hard to say, i'd say they are equal. Thor basically blows up a city and Vision gives 1 or 2 finishing moves to Ultron involving the hammer or the infinity stone in his head. Specifics about the hammer shot I can't say because it was a very hectic scene. So much awesome in that couple of shots it kind of melts one's mind.

There is a really cool shot pre-battle btw where Vision and Thor casually stand next to eachother, i dont remember about Thor but Vision was with a cape. And the way they stand there, it's like they are the 'godly ones' talking about a gameplan.

He doesn't throw it, he hits him while holding the hammer with it but yeah I still think Thor was more powerful than vision I mean he destroy a entire city. But Vision also had the stone so I don't know

I love it when Vision save witch awwww moment

Also Vision does have phasing. He phases through a few drones' chests with his arm to destroy them.

I think the main problem with Ultron was there was never the time to fully develop his story and the themes that were related to him. He felt like a toy not a threat.

Business as usual for the MCU, sigh.

At least there is Wilson Fisk.
