Honestly, I never pay much attention to people's reactions. My reaction is the only one that matters to me.

That being said, I think it's mixed. Some think it's better than the first. Others, a touch under the first.

Not being as good as the first means falling slightly below the #1 comic book film of all time --- thats not a bad thing.

The first one had so much build towards it. We knew it was coming with all the solo movies. This one is a sequel so it's understandable that some will think the 1st is better.

I can say that I am more hyped for this film than I was for TA. Hulkbuster vs Hulk and we have QS, SW and Vision

Both are confirmed for Civil War.

I could see them killing Rhodey to drive Stark's guilt for creating Ultron even more over the edge.

Whoever dies I hope it has a purpose beyond shock value.

I don't think so. The most obvious bet is still Quicksilver, people just don't want to believe it because he looks cool.

He'd be an actual Avenger, someone who gets lots of screentime and interactions, and his death would greatly affect Scarlet Witch. If the death is at the climax and he pulls a heroic sacrifice, it'd be even more meaningful.

It might also explain the complete lack of merchandise. The toy companies might not want to merchandise a guy who is gonna be in one film (amid a torrent of more popular heroes) and then die.

I don't really care what anyone has to say about the movie, i will probably like it more than the first one anyway. Will it be better than Winter Soldier, now that is the question for me.

Quicksilver dying already would be just huge waste. Especially since the actors have been saying for months that the twins come together and don't really make sense apart (referencing DOFP).

Cap's team of Avengers will likely just factor into Civil War. The events of that movie will alter the film and my guess is come Infinity War, we will see more of the Phase 3 heroes like Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel on the team.

Rhodes dying to "send Tony over the edge" is silly. Pepper "died" in IM3 and Tony acted like NOTHING happened.

Stop with the death wishes. No one needs to die. The problem is that the movies are so jokey, that people think that death is how to balance it. If anyone dies it'll be the Vision sacrificing himself to kill Ultron, since Ultron "killed" JARVIS...it'd be like payback. Vision would wake up in Tony's lab being worked on, repaired, and healing.

Each character is a multi-million dollar franchise when it comes to products/toys/games.

Doesn't really matter if someone dies or not. If it happens and is well done cool. If not well okay. Though the fake-out death has been a recurring thing in all of phase 2 so far, so it is possible there will be another one.

Sure ... no one has to die, but Entertainment Weekly already confirmed someone "important" does. And they're not going to risk their rep on rumours, they had people attend the film.

It seems to be speculation based on the the EW article, which notes that the woman we saw disrobing in a cave in the trailers (the cave Thor ends up in) is nowhere at all in the movie and that in fact Thor's entire visit to the cave is confusing, which indicates that they might have cut some stuff there. I've also seen people wondering if maybe the reason people who saw the movie were tweeting that there was no Loki despite the fact that Elba said he filmed with Hiddleston might be because whatever they filmed with Loki was connected to that cave stuff and if that was cut a lot, then Loki got cut too.

I don't want him to die at all. I don't care if he was saving the entire galaxy. SW and QS are supposed to be together, I'd hate for Whedon to introduce the twins just to kill QS off.
