I would love to see Robbie in a Netflix series, have him cameo in Punisher who is also about punishing those and seeking vengeance. They've done an amazing job with him, so much better than Nich Cage's Ghost Rider.

GR on Netflix would be a lot more violent and lot more cool, but based on what I have seen with the Netflix MCU, I cannot see how Robbie fits, which is why I support a Ghost Rider spinoff on ABC.

Ghost Rider on Netflix would not even have to be based in the same reality as any other Marvel properties on Netflix. Hence the whole "Earth is but one territory among many..." (paraphrasing) speech. It could be set in completely different dimensions, realities, planets, cities, anything.

Please explain...considering that Robbie, the character, would have no idea that he has switched from ABC to Netflix.

Robbie the character would not know, but those of us who watch this and the Netflix series would have questions about the GR Spinoff on Netflix. If one is announced for Netflix, the first question people will ask is "will we see Robbie interact with any of the Defenders or their allies?" If so, how?

Robbie is based out of Los Angeles. The Netflix MCU is based in New York City. What reason would they have for him and his brother to go to New York? Likewise, what would be the reason for any of the Netflix characters to go to Los Angeles?

I don't want Robbie to be forced into the Netflix MCU. I want the transition to be smooth. If Marvel announces a GR Netflix spinoff, there has to be a reason for the inevitable interaction with the rest of the Netflix MCU.

I don't know how Marvel would transition him from SHIELD into the Netflix MCU without forcing it.

Did you read the IGN interview? I thought they were taken by the Nova Corps but instead it sounds like Mephisto.
Nope Haven't read IGN's interview. I can't see why Nova Corps would get involved with this kind of Earth business. I CAN see Mephisto getting involved.
That last scene with Phil kind of matched what we saw in that other dimension with Reyes walking through

Easily keep Robbie in LA or in Hel fighting demons or wherever he went. It wouldn't have to be connected to the Defenders at all.

As do we all lol it's going to be an even LONGER wait if we have to wait until AFTER Inhumans is done

I know, right? Probably not until what, January of next year?

I'm sure they'll time it to coincide with you know what.

Robbie is based in Los Angeles. The other Netflix shows take place in NY. You answered your own questions. They wouldn't have to meet up at all. In fact, you could start a whole new wave on Netflix of characters outside of NY.

I live in the same reality as Bill Gates...yet our paths never seem to cross. It's not a mystery...its just how things go. I'd like to think that people are smart enough to figure that out.

That is why I am all for a Robbie GR Spinoff on ABC. The moment a Netflix spinoff is announced, people are going to ask if it will have any connections to the Defenders, maybe not here, but the media who covers this stuff will ask about it.

Maybe, but they might even wait longer since NBC has the Winter Olympics and they might think it better to just start in March and just go 13 straight.

- I don't get the diner scene

It felt to me like they filmed that scene two ways just in case. If they didn't get another season they were going to end it in the diner. Since they did, they extended the scene to spin in to next season. Wonderful idea. It would have been a satisfying-ish conclusion to the series.

Loved this finale. Glad they squirreled some big budget and saved a big chunk of cash to spend on the finale. It looked movie quality.

So...it was also an LMD of Simmons that shot up Aida with a machine gun? That seems...kind of like a stupid plan from people with too much time on their hands.
No, the real Simmons had the machine gun. She was waiting there, with Coulson. The LMD was with Fitz, and was destroyed by Ophelia.

You're over thinking it. Most would know it'd be a spinoff and they could easily come out and say it'll be based in LA so no real connection to the Defenders.

They're getting a full season order of 22 episodes next season though.

So... where did they get a Jemma LMD?

The Darkhold? Or a left over one from when AIDA made a bunch? I don't know, I didn't get that either. I was at the point where I didn't care what they did as long as they got rid of AIDA. :funny:

Not to get into the whole TV characters in the films discussion, but if there is one character that could transition it is Robbie Reyes. He is that good and I'd love to see him share the screen with Dr. Strange.

The way they got the darkhold was a bit to easy.

But shield is back in the shadows again. Will one of the koeings take charge in coulsons absence.

I thought there were several of each of the main Agents? You figure if there was a room of Daisy, there was probably rooms of Simmons, Fitz, Phil, Mack, May. Somehow the Superior kept replicating himself too

Makes me wonder the same thing. It will be an interesting season and How Inhumans will connect to AoS will be another point of interest

So what crap does everyone think they'll throw at FitzSimmons next season since they can never have nice things?

Well one thing I hope doesn't drag on, is Fitz getting over obsessed with "I killed people in the Framework!" I REALLY hope that goes away. ENOUGH of the whining already

And how the heck did Simmons get down to where Coulson Rider and Aida were so quick?
Given that Coulson Rider and Aida were bouncing around for a while before they ended up down in that hallway/room (which seems to be where Coulson planned on taking her anyway). I don't think it was 'so quick' (another point, we don't know how far away that room was from where Jemma (and Fitz) were previously... i.e. it could have been just down the hall). While they were transporting around subways and over streets and what not, Jemma and Fitz were making their way to where they knew Coulson was going to try and take her.

No, the real Simmons had the machine gun. She was waiting there, with Coulson. The LMD was with Fitz, and was destroyed by Ophelia.

That was my original point. Simmons...the real Simmons...shot Aida with a machine gun...then Aida and Coulson Rider fell REALLY far...and within seconds, there was Simmons and Fitz. It was really bad flow. In fact, much of the episode felt rushed.
