It was at the very beginning.

it was on-line too in a clip

wow I actually watched that scene live too but still missed the Man-Thing and her saying she'd call Pepper back haha.. need to quit playing with my phone during the show!

do you feel the same way about Agent May? because, to me, she seems to only have one setting.
No, because May is clearly intended to be stoic, enigmatic and reserved. Trip's not. But anyway, that's not what I'm saying my problem is with the actor playing Trip. I'm saying his line deliveries sound forced and unnatural to me. Which is not the same thing as being inexpressive.

Why didn't Phil tell Maria that Fury lives. Lack of trust? Is he waiting for Fury's play?

I missed both the Man Thing and Hill on the phone with Pepper things. Was I watching the wrong show? Lol.

If Maria Hill was in a bar talking to a guy named Barnie, you were just on the wrong channel. ;)

I have to give the show a lot of props. I did not see that twist at the end coming, at all (and I'm usually very good at guessing plot twists).

The show left me with a serious issue that plagued the earlier episodes.

Providence is located in Canada. So how does Talbot and the US Military get the authority to take over the base on Canadian soil? Is it sovereign US Territory like an embassy?

For the same reason why Navy Seals went into Pakistan to kill OBL without telling the Pakastani government. Special Forces sneaking into other countries territory while chasing fugitives is far from unheard of, even in the real world. They probably didn't bother to inform the Canadian government at all.

I feel the same way about Tripp. Good character, mediocre actor. I also (still) think Ming Na was miscast. But everything else is markedly improved (Even Skye/Chloe. Did not see that coming) so best to focus on the positive.

1. It's a bit of a secret...and Coulson had literally JUST experienced first hand the fact that Maria has no interest in keeping SHIELD secrets anymore.
2. Hardly matters, since Maria already knows that Fury isn't dead.

So I get the feeling that these last 2 episodes aren't going to wrap up the Sky 084 thing. I know they said they aren't going to wrap everything up this season and there was going to be a cliffhanger and that is the only thing that makes sense. Maybe she does something crazy as a reaction to the serum and powers start to manifest then the first part of next season is going after the Skye mystery

1. The american army can go wherever it wants around the world to chase global threats (especially if the country is an ally)
2. Canadian mounties on horseback cant break down shield bunkers :cwink:

Did everyone catch what Hill said about Stark "privatizing global security"?

What I wonder about is how does the Bus get permission to fly around without being shot down? Is it radar proof? Does it have a transponder that spoofs a commercial, private or military aircraft? How do they not have to file a flight plan?

Yeah, The Bus has stealth mode. But there's been at least one episode I can recall where airspace became a factor, so it seems that Coulson tries to respect no-fly zones for the most part. Now that they're fugitives, probably not so much.

Man, the Lola scene had some horrid effects. I like the show but my thought is that if you can't do a scene like that well, just don't do it at all right? Just have them get in and then show them land. Less is more if you can't afford more. What do you guys think?

bah all you young-uns are spoiled. use your imaginations a bit. back in my day we would have swooned over those effects. I can forgive that. What I can't forgive is that awful Deathlok costume.

It's network television so whatever.

I agree it network tv and understand that. I'm just saying they ought to know their limitations. Again, I like the show just my opinion.

I really don't care. The story was engaging enough that I was willing to overlook a few dodgy effects.

My 10 year old daughter pointed out something neat last night. "Daddy! They said 'season finale, not series finale', so we'll get a second season!"

I think if the show was going to be cancelled, they'd push the last episode a little more than what we've seen so far.
