It sounds like ABC is trying this out with all of their big dramas. AoS is the only one getting a "replacement" that's set in the same continuity, though.

More like ABC learned from their mistakes. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, like Agent Carter, was planned to air between each half season of Once Upon a Time, but they believed so much in the series being a hit that they ended up putting it in the regular schedule, against The Big Bang Theory. It got mediocre ratings as a result and ended up being cancelled.

I wouldn't read anything into that. Seems like whoever whipped that up just used the Season 1 cast graphic. I think it's literally the only graphic they have of all of them together.

Hopefully this means they are going to do something more interesting with Ward than having him killed off or simply be a bad guy, his conflict has been evident but the show thankfully is pacing his arc instead of any sudden moves.

One of the things that they did right in recent episodes was that it didn't take long for Skye to find out Ward's true intentions. It would have been stupid if they kept Skye and the team in the dark about Ward until tonight.

In Turn, Turn, Turn when it was revealed that Ward was HYDRA, I asked "I wonder how long before Skye finds out?"

I think that every time someone says, "it looks photoshopped!" I personally don't HAVE photoshop but use mostly Photo Suite 2. lol

Stupid question... Who funds SHIELD? Even before the HYDRA reveal, I thought it was the US since it is is Strategic Homeland....

So if it's a defunct organization, who is paying to keep all these secret bases operational?

So we still don't really know is if SHIELD is gone gone as organization or going through a massive internal investigation? Because obviously all their secrets got leaked to the internet in TWS but that doesn't mean that whoever funds it shut the whole place down. It's like when the Secret Service got caught drinking too much and having sex with hookers. They just changed leadership.
