Scott Porter needs to play a superhero.

He'd play a great Vance Astrovik. Or Richard Rider.

In any case, Palicki may be the best talent this show has had, besides maybe Paxton and Gregg. If FNL was any indication, the acting quality may take a huge jump this season.

And why would we want a Mockingbird who is as old as May? That's not the way she is in the comics. We don't have to go the Hank Pym route here. And Ming Na is 50 years old.

I had not seen the MARVEL website press release yet. Thought all the info was coming from unconfirmed sites. Thanks for sharing!


By "older" I didn't mean ooooollllldd like Douglas, good lord.
Just thought they might use someone that portrays a little more life experience as a seasoned Agent (closer in similarity to character Agent May or actress Lucy Lawless). But I forgot that in the MCU so far for the most part they tend to hire for superheros, the guys with some mileage and young hot chicks to play against them, not complaining at all. I think she'll be great, definitely has some on screen talent, I just remember her in GI JOE 2 where thought she looked like a kid but enjoyed her role (FYI - her current age reported as 31).

My thought as well. My hope is that he is an iconic villain, and not someone who is killed/defeated after one episode. And who would not want to see Ian Quinn try to use his gravitonium, only for Graviton to emerge from it, and kill him?

She wouldn't have been my first choice but I thought Adrianne Palicki was decent as Lady Jaye in GI Joe 2 so she'll be fine as Mockingbird.

No, but you did mention May as your example, and Ming Na is 50. And that age range is too old for Bobbi.

And I only gave Pym as an example of someone who is younger in the comics but whom they've aged up for the movies.

Jeremy is about 1.78m while Adrianne is 1.8m . it just means when they meet Jeremy gets high heels while Adrianne wears flats. Not a problem.

I like Adrianne, but as Mockingbird? She's going to dwarf Hawkeye if the two ever interact or get together in this MCU continuity. I'm guessing they're never going to do that. She would tower over Jeremy Renner. I think she could easily have played someone like Valkyrie as she's now going to be one of the tallest, if not the tallest actress in the MCU.

Yeah. I feel like Mr. Chandler was born to either play someone from the 1940's… or Texas high school football coaches.
