The Perfect SHIELD Shirt For The Secret Hydra Agent In Your Life

Want to show off your allegiance to the nefarious forces lurking within Marvel's defense agency SHIELD? This glow-in-the-dark shirt will reveal your true colors when the lights go out.

Her Universe just unveiled their line of Marvel merchandise, including a sweet Captain America cardigan and Avengers-themed leggings. But we're real suckers for this clever SHIELD/Hydra number, which is available as a tank top or in plus sizes as a t-shirt.

Some cool stuff for any female fans out there, check out the site. I'm kind of jealous too, I really dig the SHIELD/Hydra glow shirt haha

lol NICE! Now all we need are AoS action figures!!!

i didn't get to see Agents of Shield until after I saw The Winter Soldier but i ended up enjoying it.

i actually read every thread in this forum before i posted lol

AoS is what turned me on to this forum. At best the movies only come out twice a year, so how much is there to discuss? At least with AoS you can have an easy discussion on a weekly.

yeah i ended up binge watching in about a week. it kinda amazed me reading all the episode threads in retrospect at how much people didn't like this or that. everyone seemed to want instant gratification. my favorite comic arcs are the ones that went on for dozens of issues or pieced together bits at a time to come together as one huge storyline. i didn't mind them building the universe and the characters. granted, some of the first episodes weren't amazing, but they were needed and by the time the last 10 episodes or so came around, it really hit its stride and became very enjoyable

I really don't buy the show needed time to get interesting. You don't need to throw everything on screen at once but regardless of what story they tell, a show has to hook you on from the beginning. There needs to be a reason for viewers to keep coming back for more, especially when it comes to how likeable the protagonists are. I hated everyone but Coulson in the beginning, but liked the whole team by the end.

I think every show's different. This needed to do it the way it did it, in order to have the pay off it had... imo

I still think they would have been better served starting the series 5 episodes later and having the Hydra reveal mid-season. The show really hit its stride when they became Agents of Nothing

Any word on when this starts filming season 2?

Are you suggesting they tried to fool people into thinking it was a boring episodic family show to surprise them when the darker and more intense events started happening? We'll have to agree to disagree on that narratively, but it definitely wasn't a good decision financially, since they lost over half of their viewers.

Although it's getting a Season 2, I'm doubtful it will reach the peak popularity it had the beginning. I tried to convince some people to go back and give the show another shot but they refused. It seems like everyone (unfortunately) made up their minds.

I think an important part of AOS Season 2 will be Director Coulson figuring out Nick's "toolbox" contents. Is it going to be some type of AI's hardware, a digital file compilation of various SHIELD projects, a way to contact the Nova Corps, or maybe even a shrunken Ant-Man corpse that he just likes to occasionally play with? :o

Personally, I hope it's an AI (Tony can't have the only one) with info such as knowledge of an LMD program, because that is where I'm pretty sure they are headed with Billy Koenig's character. I am hoping that AOS Season 2 will lay the ground work for Vision's confirmed presence in AVENGERS (2): AOU. I am hoping that SHIELD had possession of Dr. Phineas Horton's World's Fair "Synthetic Man" (CA:TFA) and that original LMD will be the groundwork of Vision's existence in the MCU, similar to the comics.

ABC Returning to Comic-Con With Panels for ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’, ‘Resurrection’

ABC Network has had a strong presence at San Diego Comic-Con for the last few years, and last year offered fans an exciting first look at the Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot months before it aired on TV. Although we already confirmed with a representative at ABC that fan-favorite Once Upon A Time will be returning to the convention with a panel next month, we’ve now received official confirmation from a representative at ABC that the network will also be bringing back Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. along with newcomer Resurrection, and “possibly” one other series, whose Comic-Con fate has not yet been determined.
The return of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. comes as no surprise to fans, as eagle-eyed attendees may have already seen co-executive-producer Maurissa Tancharoen telling a fan on Twitter that she will “see you there” in response to a question of whether or not they would be attending San Diego Comic-Con. Although ABC could not confirm which stars will be in attendance at the panel, Tancharoen tagged actors Clark Gregg, Ming Na, and Chloe Bennet in her message – strongly implying that they’re likely to be on the Comic-Con panel.

As we already speculated earlier this year, we’d be surprised if Marvel’s Agent Carter, which hasn’t shot its pilot yet, received its own panel at Comic-Con, simply because new series often only receive a limited panel with a pilot screening, and there’s no pilot to show currently. However, officially announcing the entire cast, or offering attendees a look at the sizzle reel screened to critics at ABC’s Upfronts presentation this year, during Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel seems entirely plausible.
ABC also confirmed that it will be bringing along Comic-Con newcomer Resurrection, which debuted in March, and has already been renewed for a second season. The series follows the residents of Arcadia, Missouri, whose loved ones suddenly return from the dead, unaged since their deaths. Although there’s no word yet on which cast members will be in attendance, the series stars Omar Epps, Frances Fisher, Kurtwood Smith, Matt Craven, and many others – giving ABC a large talent pool to draw from for the panel in its San Diego Comic-Con debut.
So what other series could ABC be considering to bring to San Diego Comic-Con to join Once Upon A Time, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Resurrection? ABC could surprise us all, and Carter could be that fourth “possible” panel that the network is considering, with other possibilities including the upcoming horror/mystery series The Whispers, musical, fairy-tale, medieval series Galavant, or even the long-awaited return of Castle.
Are you excited about this news? What are you hoping the other panel that ABC is considering could be? Let us know in the comments.

Titus Welliver Talks About “Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.”

June 30, 2014 by Lauren Damon Leave a Comment
Titus Welliver first joined the Marvel universe in the short one-shot, “Item 47”. Taking place in the aftermath of the Battle of New York in 2012′s The Avengers, Welliver played SHIELD Agent Blake. The short saw Blake sending Agent Sitwell (later of “Hail HYDRA” fame, boooo, hiss!) to recover a lost Chitauri weapon from a pair of common criminals on a bank robbing spree. There it was implied he was previously the superior agent to Clark Gregg’s Agent Coulson. No surprise then, with Coulson’s resurrection, Blake too cropped up on ABC’s Agents of SHIELD.
Now that SHIELD has a temporary NYC home at Discovery Times Square’s Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. with Agent Blake inducting new agents on a daily basis, Welliver dropped by for a tour with his family last week. He gamely tried out several of the interactive exhibits and visited with some important Marvel props (including Item 47 itself). I was happy to get to tagalong with them, along with the exhibit’s executive director, Mark Smith. Both men were extremely knowledgable on their Marvel comics and it was a pleasure to see the exhibit in the company of these enthusiastic fans.
Lauren Damon: When you did Item 47, did you know Agents of the SHIELD could be happening?
Titus Welliver: No, Agents of SHIELD was probably in the works at that time, I didn’t know that they were going to do an Agents of SHIELD show. So when I did Item 47, it was just–I flipped out. I was so excited to do it. Because Blake and in that he’s kind of a Walter Mitty character, you can kind of tell he’s just champing at the bit to get out in the field and do something.
LD: Agent Blake’s background is having been a superior officer to Agent Coulson, did you and Clark Gregg have any discussion on their roles before the Avengers?
TW: No, I mean we didn’t. Clark was my roommate in college, so we’ve known each other for a really long time so he sort of hinted after I did Item 47 that there was stuff coming down the pipe. So when we actually got to work together it was pretty funny for us because we were such total goofoffs in college and now we’re like these Agents of SHIELD being all serious standing on the helicarrier so it’s really fun.
LD: Your SHIELD episodes aired prior to The Winter Soldier premiering, after those events, where does that put Agent Blake?
TW: Well they’ve got to reconstruct SHIELD now from the ground up now that’s it’s been so heavily compromised and destroyed. So it will be interesting to see how they resurrect SHIELD within–and as you saw on the show, it ended on a pretty bleak note. So…those writers are so good. They’ll find a way to bring it back up and I’m just happy for the show because I think it’s a smart show. I don’t think we’ve had anything like that you know, maybe The X-Files sort of the closest comparison I could come up with. And that was a phenomenal show. But with the science and the whole
Marvel universe, because everything is so interconnected, the places they can go are kind of endless.
LD: Finally, who is your favorite Avenger?
TW: My favorite Avenger? Captain America.
LD: Alright!

W:
I mean…ahhh that’s hard! I mean, I like them all. But yeah, I’m a huge Captain America fan from way back and I have probably about eighty-five percent of the original Captain America comics. So yeah, I’m a big geek.
Fittingly, in Captain America’s space at the Discovery Center, I asked Mark Smith how they went about choosing which of Captain Rogers’s props would be placed within the exhibit:
Mark Smith: It’s based on the storyline really. So with Captain America, the rebirth pod was a big part of that. The initiation of the super soldier program itself so we wanted to make sure we had real props and costumes and pieces from the movie to be able to then blend into the storyline about how Captain America is the super soldier.
Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. is now open at 44th street in New York’s Times Square, you can read more about visiting the center at its official website . In the meantime, Titus Welliver can currently be seen in “Transformers: Age of Extinction”.

Man I would LOVE to go see that.
Wish that kind of stuff was closer down here

don't they do that online?

I think so... ABC/Go or even Hulu

I recorded all of the shows...so i can watch it at will.....
But....
I just need to know when are the filming this 2nd season so i can get excited all over again

That's actually pretty cool that Titus Welliver and Clark Gregg were real life college roomates, still friends and now both have key parts in AOS together.

Agent Blake and Coulson: College Buddies spin-off confirmed :woot:
