I would guess that the trial never took place (for obvious reasons) and they dropped the charges on her and she's a private citizen.

At least that's how I would spin it.

Definitely want Blake back! He has so much potential to be the problem child for Director Coulson! Also I really like the actor.

In the comic book yes. And she had a girl friend named Isabelle. The Lucy Lawless character is also named Isabelle so I somehow think Victoria Hand will be back and Lucy will play Victoria lover.

I imagine a storyline where she wants to go to Wards cell, and put a few bullets in him, and Coulson has to stop her from doing that.

Actually she was shot in the chest which would allow for a storyline including a bulletproof vest, fake blood, and her suspecting Ward when he asked to go with her.

Ugh. I don't want that. All this stuff about fake blood etc is what people were talking about when they thought Ward was just undercover in Hydra and Hand was faking her death. I prefer that Ward actually executed her. And even if she did suspect him, how could she be sure that he would shoot her in the chest and not in the head? And wouldn't Ward or other Hydra members have disposed of the bodies instead of just leaving them around to be revived later?

The surname is not revealed; also, i think the name is spelled slightly different (Isabel)

there has not been much from her in the comics, which means that they can start a new history for her in the tv show

also, i think she was shot after the flight took off.. they would either have dumped her body somewhere, or found out during the flight if she was faking it

Weren't the bodies that Garrett gave Raina to experiment on those of Hand and her two agents? Only one was shown, but it looked kind of like it could be the body of one of her men.

But I agree, any ruse would have been found out. Either the bodies were dumped, or they flew them to Cuba so they could be experimented on with the GH serums.

If Hand is "alive", it will be because she is now Alien Zombie Hand.

Edit: Personally, I think it unlikely we will see her again.

It's not like she would've known where he might shoot her, it's just protecting what she can protect. I agree it's unlikely that we'll see her again which is a pity, she was a very interesting character with a lot of complexities.

She was shot in the chest FIRST. But then Ward walked over, stood over her, and fired several more "coup de grace" shot's at point-blank range. Now we never see WHERE he shot her (probably due to censors), but given his position at the time, headshots are quite likely. I'd actually give Disney credit if they actually confirmed show Hand to be a lesbian. I've seen quite a few people who were annoyed/upset that they haven't (which they mostly put down to Disney wanting to protect their "brand").

i dont think the bodies were those of Hand.. they appeared to be random test subjects from years of research
