Whitehall is gonna get ****ed over hard. We have Skye's dad that plans his revenge on the man that tore his family apart and murdered his wife. Then there's Ward with his unhealthy Skye obsession, and will do everything to make her happy. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.

Neither would I... man, so many questions I got going inside my mind right now...so many possibilities... I don't know where to begin. Will Shield find the city before Hydra does? Or will they be too late to stop Hydra.

Oh and one more thing, It was great seeing Peggy Carter and I look forward to what the show will bring in January. Not only is she a familiar character but her character plays a key role in what will help shape the modern world as it is today...well in the marvel universe that is. lol. So to Agent Carter....hopefully it has a good run just like AoS.

^^^ I suppose if our team finds an abandoned Kree outpost, it may well be guarded by one of those bad boys.

So I'm rewatching season 1, thanks Netflix! And I can't help but take everything Ward says as a misdirect haha. I swear he seems so shady as "normal/good" Ward now, and nowhere near as boring as he seemed originally. They really did a fantastic job developing that character arc throughout the season, right under our noses.

In episode 2 he mentions a book he's reading given to him from his SO (that we now know was Garrett) called Matterhorn. I decided to look it up and it's about a platoon in Vietnam that is forced to leave their base and then retake it over the course of the story. I wonder if they had him use that book intentionally, as Shield was run out of their base(s) to an extent and then Coulson's team had to retake them.

Or I'm just looking way into the show for hidden signs now lmao.

So ABC is starting Agent Carter on January 6, and AOS is to return on March 3. That’s 8 weeks, enough for Agent Carter…except for the little issue of the State of the Union Address being on a Tuesday night in late-January (although a date has not been set this year). So, will Agent Carter be extended a week, pushing back the whole Spring schedule? Or will they air a double episode at some point?

March3rd? Oh wow...so...will the next episodes be in line with Age of Ultron? :)

Will QS + SW be inhumans like the ones that will be on the show? Since Feige said we might see inhumans sooner than expected and he also said he isn't involved in the shows much this is becoming more and more likely. Especially since QS had close ties to the inhumans anyway, being married to one of them and getting his powers back by terrigenesis.

Feige has been on record dismissing the possibility of the twins being Inhumans, but I wonder how much of that is him trying to cover up potential spoilers. It's an odd timing for AoS to be introducing the Inhumans with their movie being three years away, the only reason I can come up with is precisely QS and SW being reimagined as that. We'll see.

He's made no secret that he wanted an Inhumans movie, so it doesn't make sense to lie about the twins being Inhuman.

... um yes, im not 5. I learned what a red herring was at 6 like everyone else who grew up watching 'A Pup named scooby doo" haha

Red herrings are only successful when you're missdirecting the audience for a better or bigger reveal. It would be awfully lame if they set this mystery up only to have her be named "sarah" and be completely made up for the show. Thats actually disappointing your audience

Speaking of red herrings, as much as everything looks like its lining up for the inhumans to be introduced, we still also have no proof yet that that's indeed what they're doing.

Very likely ? Yes. But could it still be something different? Absolutely.

People are talking as if it's fact right now, and it's actually not

Another possible theory is Eternals.

Indeed. Eternals are viable. It honestly could be a mix of everything. And it could lead us to some sort of historical document that explains all these races and beings.

It will be interesting to see none the less

Well, no. We have no conclusive proof, but we certainly have evidence of Inhumans. Of course, that theory is subject to change when new evidence appears, but that should just go without saying because that's always the case.

Anyone think that Whitehall might actually get killed off in the winter finale and a new character takes over as the big bad for the second half?

Its possible...question is, who would be the big bad in the second half?? Strucker? Im not so sure about him since he'll be appearing in Age of Ultron...

I think it's more likely he gains powers in the new found city as the cliffhanger. Isn't his character supposed to be called The Kraken? They've yet to call him that.

Maybe he's critically wounded in the mid season finale, then in the confusion of the battle between SHIELD and Hydra, he crawls away, discovers the helmet, and puts it on, or he encounters the Diviner again, and since he's dying anyway, he gives it a shot and lays hands on it, activating the terrigenesis process, whereby he heals, or he dies, then the next time we see him (2nd half of season 3, start of season 4, AOU) he's opening his eyes, and Strucker is looking down at him saying "come Werner, we have important work to do".

That's 3 options, I'm sure the writers have many more if they'd like to keep the character.

yeah i'd prefer he get powers... have Kraken form his own version of "The Masters of Evil" while they're at it too...

I don't think Whitehall's going anywhere. But I would like Strucker to appear at some point this season. It would be a nice touch of continuity - particularly if they can use him as a prequel to the movie rather than just after the fact. Strucker and Whitehall are allies anyway, so there's nothing wrong with them being together.

I think Whitehall should die by grabbing the Diviner and have an Indiana Jones style death. If they heavily imply he's worthy of using the Diviner only to find out he's not that could work
