- Attilan(also called The Hidden Land) Home of the Inhumans. Originally an island in the North Atlantic ocean, it has moved several times, including to the Andes, Himalayas, to the Blue Area on the Moon, the homeworld of the alien Kree, Halahttps://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hala_(comics)&action=edit&redlink=1. More recently Attilan was destroyed during the events of Infinity by Black Bolt when he detonates the Terrigen Bomb, the remains of Attilan now reside within New York, in the Hudson Estuary.
I can see it on Earth in the Himalayas
If all of this isnt what we think it is this is one helluva cruel misdirection job by Marvel.
Bingo! This is pretty much exactly what I was thinking after watching the episode.Yeah they said the alien was older than the pyramids, so it makes sense.
I feel like they will discover an abandoned city where the Kree did their experiments, and the original Inhumans lived before some moved on to Attilan and some of them integrated back with humanity.
That means they can actually discover a city and find answers on this show without compromising the film. I don't see it being the Kree homeworld, simply because how would they be able to find that answer out.
You know, I wouldn't mind this city being in the Andes instead of the Himalayas just to cut down on the redundancy between Attilan, K'un-L'un (home of Iron Fist), and Kamar-Taj (where The Ancient One trains Dr. Strange). Not a big deal either way, though.
Haha so true!
This would be beyond lame.I still wouldn't rule out mar-vell. He may never be named. But coulson and the kree body could indeed lead to ms marvel none the less
I guess that can also be a possibility, since the body was a Kree, but it still doesn't mean it's NOT Attilan. What if the city just transferred to the Inhumans? Basically the experiments taking over the Earth bound cityIsn't it more likely the city is the kree homeworld? Its going to still be about what? 4 years? Until the inhumans movie? They arnt going to introduce them now and wait for 4 years to show the royal family... nor would they introduce Attilan before the inhumans movie.
Plus wasn't it confirmed the alien was kree by one of the actors on the show?
If this ties into the inhumans at all, its likely that the dead kree is one of the kree that experimented on humans and turned them into inhumans
I agree with this last part. He just seems to be acting that partI've feel like a fool thinking Skye & her father are [blackout]Kree [/blackout] when in fact they are [blackout]Inhumans! [/blackout]
All of this makes so much more sense now:
Terrigan Mist is what was in the alien's blood!
- The Ancient Alien
- The regenerative powers of the blood
- The increased knowledge
- The Artifact
I would not be surprised that Skye's father is [blackout]Maximus![/blackout]
I agree with this last part. He just seems to be acting that part
lol I can still see him as Maximus, granted not at his WORSE but stillMeh. All I've seen so far isMaximus The Slightly Miffed
This would be beyond lame.

see that's the part i don't agree with.. why would they introduce Maximus... A ROYAL INHUMAN 4 years before the movie
To be fair, as far as the major Inhumans are concerned even among them there are those that are more major than the others: Karnak certainly doesn't have the same weight in their story as Black Bolt or Medusa, for example.
That said, Maximus IS a "MAJOR major" Inhuman, so IF they dare introduce him long before their movie and on Agents of SHIELD of all things Marvel it'd certainly be for the same reason they're introducing Tchalla and - supposedly - Ulysses Klaw before the Black Panther movie: they don't want it to be an origin movie, they want their story to have been kickstarted already so they can get into the action already within the first 30 minutes. For the Inhumans, it means they could potentially skip the obvious first movie plot of Maximus orchestrating a coup to dethrone his brother Black Bolt, a plot all too similar of the one we saw in Thor, only with Thor and Loki replacing Black Bolt and Maximus.
Just because we won't see the Inhumans until 2018 doesn't mean that we won't see Inhumanity before then.
eh, maybe a severely watered down version. The issue is alot of people DONT watch shield... and you've got to be sure to not expect people to watch shield to later fully enjoy the inhumans movie
I doubt they are going to treat Mar-Vell, who had his own comic title nearly as long as the often pushed Ms. Marvel and after all the years of being out of print has a cult following, as an origin catalyst like Abn Sur. Mar-Vell will more than likely carry a little more weight than that and not die inside of 10-15 minutes.well.. they arn't going to give us 2 Captain Marvel's so if Mar-Vell is in Captain Marvel at all.. he will be killed off early on ala green lantern

the whole royal family from Crystal, Black Bolt, and Medusa to Triton, Karnak, Maximus and Lock jaw are likely all off limits because you can't introduce them in a tv series or the inhuman stars without hurting the future film.
It's also just not practical for getting actors to be contracted to a tv show to later appear in a movie 4 years from now
Please enlighten me why is it so. At least one of Marvel's most valuable properties, Daredevil, has gone the way of a Netflix show instead of a movie, so I don't see why this is a problem.
It's also not practical to cast the villain of Black Panther 3 years before the movie gets its theatrical release, but it seems like they did it in all likelyhood. Oh, well!
Episode 9 (playing on Dec 2nd, after a one-week break for Thanksgiving) is entitled "Ye Who Enter Here". If that means what it seems to, we could be seeing this city sooner rather than later. That's also the second-to-last episode before the Christmas break. At the current pace they will reveal something with Skye at the end of the season - OR - Coulson will start a new obsession with homing to the city.
