Anyone got any idea what the secret is between Bobbi and Mac is? I sorta got a vibe it may be that Bobbi has had a fling with someone.....Hawkeye maybe???? Lol well... im hoping

Heh! :D The guy they have shoehorned in as Hawkeye lite is adding zilch to the show, might as well allude to the real thing. In truth though I felt like Mac was talking about something more serious than Bobbi's love life.

Ward is arguably the shows most interesting character IMO, I very much doubt they have any intention of killing him off.

Eh. Im quite fond of nick blood on the show. He and bobbi are my favorite newbies hands down. I think he brings more than mac or Trip to be honest.

They may be giving him some of the story between mockingbird and hawkeye, but I dont think that negates their potential relationship. The writers apparently hinted that hawkeye is "important" to her afterall

I agree. Have no issue with Hunter. He's actually always making timely saves and his reaction and quips are kinda funny to me. His reaction to Agent 33's face made me chuckle. The only issue i have with him is whenever he's around Bobbi, he sucks then.

Maybe it's because I am English but his supposed charm falls flat with me, I just don't think he fits. Trip has had no development this season after a good start last season with his Howling Commandos lineage which I hope might be explored more with a WWII era villain at the center of the season. Mac is the best addition after Bobbi IMO, I really like his presence and the friendship they have developed with him and Fitz.

Ill agree with that. But I do like the idea that he's this tough guy wise cracking persona, but, hes really a sentimental softy with baggage. Also helps that he's insanely sexy

I do love Mac and Fitz's moments, but you'd be kidding yourself if you didnt think Mac is easily the most expendable shield agent on the show. He has no chaeacter development, his time on screen is all about developing other characters... like Fitz, Simmons, and Bobbi

I actually think Mac, Hunter and Trip are all equally likely to be killed off, I mean the only newbie to me that feels long term 100% is Bobbi because obviously her character has stronger comic book ties and even a potential leap to the MCU. Given that Mac allows other characters to develop by playing off actually may place him ahead of the other 2 in the useful alive stakes, as Hunter dying to emotionally impact Bobbi who so far is cool and efficent is a route they'd probably consider, and as you say Trip is just there hanging around.

Those 3 for sure are at the top of the food chain, but Tripp is probably out of the clear now that he survived his gunshot wound. But, yeah Mac has the least development, but Whedon does have a way of building up someone before killing them off... which Hunter could easily be. He'd be an impactful loss considering he and skye have the best one liners on the show... well, skye hasnt even been doing that lately.

He and Bobbi are just a fun breather of fresh air among all the angst and drama this season (which is great, and why I think mac is more expendable however.)

It's not just your English-ness. Everything he does that's supposed to be "charming" falls flat with me as well. I agree about Trip's current state, but I feel like if Hunter were gone he'd be getting that character development we hoped he'd get after last season. He earned his place among the team during the whole Hydra fiasco and he deserves better than what he's getting this season, imo. Plus, this week's episode reminded me that I adore his dynamic with Simmons and wish we'd get more of that. And yeah, Mac developed an actual connection and dynamic with other members of the team, so I agree he's the strongest addition after Bobbi because he already feels like part of the family.

I'm English and I like Hunter. He at least brings a little humour to the show.

If ward doesn't eventually die from being ambush by an army of Koenigs... Then that will be a missed chance IMHO.

I like Hunter too, he's very amusing as the man who doesn't quite fit into all this.

As for Mac, I felt he was really strong this week. He serves as a brilliant buffer between Fitz and Simmons, and his work with Fitz has been an emotional core to the show for weeks. Then he's now the councillor with Bobbi and Hunter. And just damn funny. I really hope they cure him of... whatever happened to him. Maybe he's Ronan Reborn? :funny:

The thing with Tripp for me is I feel like he should look straight in to the camera pointing twin finger guns and having a twinkle added to his grin in post after every quip he makes.

Mac is going to be transformed in to Gorgon after all of this. ;)

If Bobbi is working for Stark, it'd be cool if he cameos. RDJ said he'd do it

Oooh, Bobbi working for Stark? Now there's an awesome idea!

Why would Bobby be working for Stark?

Oversight? Stark wanting to keep a close eye on Coulson?

If Starks running Avengers full time and is 'privatising world peace', he'd want intel on Hydra etc. I'm sure

Why would Bobby be working for Stark?

Mac and Bobbi discussed that they had something going on the side that she hadn't disclosed yet to her ex. It could be that she's working for Fury, but the show already did that last year with May reporting to the SHIELD director behind Coulson's back.

Stark makes sense as would want to be informed of everything Coulson's team knows about HYDRA. And wouldn't that be a fantastic year end crossover, with RDJ showing up to organize a two pronged assault on HYDRA featuring the Avengers and the reformed SHIELD?

if Chloe is Quake.. do you think she will be groomed to appear on the big screen during infinity wars or any other mcu film?

I hope not... Bennet's acting is very mediocre and she's annoying as a character too. For every good moment she has there's another "epic fail!" to follow it

As of late, shes had a really good performance.. action scenes and dialogue. If she is quake it would be cool to see her working along side the avengers in some capacity on screen.
