any expectation for daredevil tie ins , a dr list hint of going after powered individuals maybe or is the expectation that they will respectfully keep their distance, a polite nod with the creel mention.

Not this season they said .Maybe when they get to The Defenders ?

Creel's son is one of Daisy's team in Secret Warriors wasn't he ?

dumb
a spinoff will fail
this show doesn't have the zeitgeist-level ratings to support another show
if anything, I would fear the 2 shows almost cannabalizing each other's ratings
I agree spin-off makes no sense at this point.

I dont know, Ares's son Phobos was

to answer my own question
During the Secret Invasion storyline, a man named Jerry Sledge is recruited by Daisy Johnson to be a member of Nick Fury's new Secret Warriors. While in battle, Daisy refers to Jerry as "Stonewall".http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stonewall_(comics)#cite_note-8 It is later revealed that Stonewall is the son of the Crusher Creel, aka the Absorbing Man. He was conceived before his father got his power. One day, coming into contact with his father caused Stonewall to gain his powers.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stonewall_(comics)#cite_note-9

I loved the banter between Coulson and Hunter in this weeks ep and it was cool to see Deathlok back in the mix. I also really like how smart and resilient Jemma is becoming in regards to being an agent not just a scientist, she's become adept at using Bobbi's fondness for her and perception of her to her advantage.

I like that Coulson is going to use Ward for helkp. :D

Not sure what to make of the stuff with Skye and eyeless Nightcrawler, guess it's a long game arc in fairness. GQ Inhuman is totally cheating when he literally swept her off her feet to impress her! :funny:

The sooner Skye's pops goes the better, the actor is awful.

Eyeless Nightcrawler is a nickname for Daredevil when scrambling to find his billy club on the ground that he dropped. :oldrazz:

Yeah you know...I didn't realize how awesome Coulson and Hunter are together as a team. I want to see more of that now!!

Not sure if I can go back to the decline of season 2 of AOS after watching season one of Daredevil. Going to be tough.

G'day,

Just thought of something. Bobbi was originally sent to the Iliad to sink it because of its cargo. Is whatever it was still on the carrier? That could very well tie in to the AOU movie. Don't be surprised if those flying robots attack his ship.

Something is off about Gonzales' SHIELD. They have an obsession with getting rid of Coulson, when there is a much bigger threat looming.....

Ignoring them will be the downfall of Gonzales' SHIELD.

Decline in what? Pacing? Cause this half is slower paced the almost breakneck pace of first half. Other than that the quality level has been the same, same writers and directors. Interesting non-cliche storyline.
I do think the cast is getting a bit big though. Than again the whedons have never been afraid to kill off characters.

I think this is a first chance they have really had to develop some banter as there has usually been other characters in the scenes with them.

That's a new one. Kyle is pretty much universally praised as an actor.

He may well be and I seem to recognize his face from other roles, but in this specific role I think he's hammy and out of sync with the rest of the show.

Feels like the episode synopsys is only ever useful these days for the guest list, they're just so frustratingly vague due to being published for three episodes in advance.

It'll be hard to watch this series after binging on Daredevil. It just doesn't have the same weightiness or intimacy. I like the characters and actors on Agents but they just seem like parts on the screen and not fleshed out fully.

What's the problem?

The budget?
The writing?
The actors?
The pacing?

I think it's just different tastes is all.

This. I like Shield enough but if it wasn't connected to the larger picture, would I be as interested? Probably not. With Daredevil, it's nice to see the little hints, but it completely stands on it's own.

Very good actor and Golden Globe winner. I like him. But different people have different tastes.

Really hope the producers of the show take a look at Daredevil and see the level they have managed. They need to up their game again for season 3. They don't need to go as dark and gritty. Just the level of storytelling and characterisation.

It's a network TV show they can't wont go any darker than they currently are ,which with the deaths and vivisection has been pretty dark for it timeslot. Plus there is a load of kids that watch the show as

I agree AoS needs to be more standalone.

I love AoS but it rarely feels like it gets past the surface of the main characters or the action - some how it feels a little too G when PG or Adult would be a better space to be in.

There are lots of good actors in AoS, but some how they often feel light.

Maybe I think they're a little too light, Maybe the canvas is too large and it needs to feel smaller, more claustrophobic
