I like Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter, but neither hold a candle to the first season of Daredevil.

Agreed. I'm somewhere between "really like" and "love" when it comes to all of Marvel TV's output till date, but Daredevil's first season was just on a different level. Even compared to JJ.

I would place Agents of SHIELD 2a and Agent Carter S1 over both Daredevil and JJ. They were both brilliant when there were good but were marred by pacing issues. Neither team seemed able to well use Netflix's format which resulted in poorly paced seasons.

Agents of SHIELD won the "Favorite superhero TV show" poll on the front page by quite a margin. It had 33% of the votes and second place, Daredevil, had 20% of the vote. That's quite impressive for a show that most people wrote off two years ago.

That is ****ing creepy....

Edit - is that a handprint on his chest?

Yeah, that's where Phil gave him the Coulson Finisher.

Actually favorite comic book show which had a bunch of other shows on it. IMHO, that's not saying much, considering Walking Dead only took about 7.5 percent and it's one of the most popular shows on TV.

IMHO Daredevil has never had the season long pacing and uneven balancing issues that both those shows have had.

In terms of pacing, I think Agents of SHIELD seasons are too long.

You can see the cracked ribs too. Figure Ward/Hive is gonna be like an intelligent zombie now. Body is dead (animated by Hive parasite thingie) but has full mental faculties etc.

I wouldn't say it means much but did surprise me especially given that I've always found this site to be more favorable to DC.

DD and JJ both whip the s**t out of this and Agent Carter, imo

The ABC shows are kind of guilty pleasures, where I like it quite often but don't really wanna admit that I watch them at times
whereas the Netflix shows I'll shout all day to anyone who listens about how great they are

I'd just like some more comic book villains and more of an actual Marvel style here. I think they keep holding back on that.

I think Budget issues might explain why we have not seen Graviton yet.
That would be one FX heavy episode.

And how does CBS and even the CW manage to do lots of special effects on Supergirl or the Flash? If they can do it, then there's no reason why AoS can't. It's not like Marvel are lacking in budget compared to them.

well the ratings for the rest of Season 3 doesn't matter now since ABC already pushed the renewal button for Season 4 :)

I loved the netflix stuff. In my opinion, Agents of Shield is the worst superhero show on tv aside from supergirl, I think the show got unbearably boring, it feels very soapy from time to time.

AOS is the second best weekly superhero show on tv after Flash. I can't stand Arrow anymore and i think Gotham, Supergirl are below it in terms of quality. LoT is too early to judge. Of course the Netflix MCU is on another level not only from AOS but from every other comic book show as well. That's not even debatable.

Glad we are getting a 4th season, season 3 has been the best so far for me.
