All you're doing is trading names of organizations though... it will be the same thing just with a new title. Mandarin is too big to waste on tv... and im sure ironman will get solos again especially with an inevitable recast in the not too distant future... (only 3 years until IW part 2 brings in the end of the contracts)

Are you certain that they are going to recast the old characters? I contend that's far from a certainty given the already expansive roster the MCU would have with new characters being featured in their own movies; such as Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel.

They said they will recast rather than reboot... its hard to keep the avengers going without cap, tony, and thor...

They've also suggest a break with the character before a reboot. The Avengers lineup has shifted radically over the years and I don't expect anything different.

Agrees. Though, i do not expect to ever see an avengers film with just "scarlet witch, strange, antman, captain marvel, wasp, spider-man, and falcon"

At least one of the big 3 (cap, thor, iron man) will be on the team at all times

I could totally see the Phase 4 Avengers film being New Avengers. Most of the characters from that line up will be both in the MCU and under contract. I think audiences would pay good money to see Spidey, Strange, Luke Cage, etc. as Avengers.

And new avengers had steve and tony (the original team) and there's sadly no indication of netflix xharacters overlapping into film

Still we should have waited for the show to actually get picked up. Having watched all of Season Two of Daredevil plus tonight's episode, I realize that the show's producers are obsessed about having HYDRA as this big menace when the group is pretty much non-existent in the Netflix world. That and the obsession over Inhumans.

Why should Hydra being in the Netflix show?
Daredevil makes plenty of references to AOS already with Carl Creel, Cybertek (aka Hydra), the Dogs of Hell.

Fisk won't be in Agents of Shield either.

I would like an "Alien threat/outbreak continues" on a newspaper or t.v at some point at the very least next season.

I do think DD should start having the weirder/stranger villians now...those with powers and for a few of them, being Inhuman is certainly an easy explanation.

Hmm. Who else is there? A.I.M. is a popular one; they were hinted at in IM3. Could they pick up that thread and spin it off on the show somehow? Or would they just be Hydra with a different logo? In IM3, Killian was all about unlocking hidden powers (though it was all the same power for all of his guys); maybe something like...AIM trying to combat the rise of the Inhumans with their own powered people?

Kevin Feige said we have not seen the last of A.I.M in IM3 so I think they will be back with a new leader eventually.

If they want, they could bring in the Ten Rings and the True Mandarin as enemies.

A Ten Rings member played by British actor Rod Hallett was in Ant-Man.

His Ten Rings neck tattoo was more prominent in the lab deleted scene.

I'm surprised they don't use some Ten Rings villains on the show seeing as they are still active.

Yea I think, for the most part, Hydra should be wrapped up by the end of the season following (estimated guess) the death of Malick and Hive. Next season could bring in AIM maybe trying to use Inhumans to unlock abilities in non inhumans or Ten Rings using them as enforcers etc.

... the notion of no hydra in DD/JJ as a complaint is flat out ignorant to the source materials.. 1) DD takes place souly in Hells Kitchen... 2) HYDRA is just as small as SHIELD is right now... 3) the Hand very much so has affiliations with hydra in the books...

hydra has no buisness in Hells kitchen... they have much bigger fish to fry

and JJ wouldn't of mentioned them for the fact her story was small scale and personal

regardless... Hydra is always going to be a big part of shield... and is basically in many ways the parent organization to all others... AIM, HAND, Roxxon, Maggia,... all major HYDRA affiliates... it's not a stretch to assume the 10 rings, Serpent Society, and the Zodiac would be to...

not only that, but they have to save something for Bobbi and Lance to go after as well...

Hydra will always be the root of everything bad in SHIELD.. that's just the way it is.. you can slap a new organization name on a group.. but it won't change anything.

agrees... very bizarre. Do people get bored of the name SHIELD? the shows just as much about HYDRA as it is SHIELD essentially...
