I'm praying the live feed will work, or I'll miss most of it too Silver :(
Ugh.... still trying to decide how to deal with tonight. I have to get up for work very early in the morning (like, my alarm starts going off just before 4am) and so I usually go to bed early on weekdays. AOS being in the middle timeslot last year was somewhat manageable (though I felt it the next morning), but it being in the 3rd hour slot this year? Trying to debate whether to stay up late and just get less sleep or to wait until Wednesday afternoon to watch it on DVR.

*sigh* Decisions, decisions

If you watch the clip, it tells you why she went after the bank.

I'm well aware she's robbing banks to give money to inhumans, or whatnot. She is. . . still robbing banks. And she's doing so when she has another, non-violent, means to acquire money if she needed it.

Good intentions do not a hero make.

The FX looked great. But so far the GR characterization has done nothing for me.

Still wish we got Ketch and blaze

Great premiere. Love the storylines being setup. Ghost Rider looks sick. Very excited for this season.

Looks like here in the UK we will have to wait until January again to see this :csad:

Didn't even know this started up last night. Haven't seen much advertising for this season.

Same here. I knew it was starting up but thought it was next week. I don't think the ratings will improve much.

Pretty sure this is its swansong season. That 10/9pm slot is usually reserved for the more adult stuff, not the "fun stuff".

Yeah I'm all but certain this is the last season of AoS, which I'm fine with. Four seasons is a respectable run. That being said, last night's episode looked like a welcome change of direction - I was getting tired of the typical Hydra/Inhumans stuff, but introducing us to the supernatural side of the MCU, particularly before Dr. Strange comes out, was a good move.

Considering the monkey wrench the MOVIES threw to them by dismantling SHIELD in CA:TWS they are lucky they went to 4 seasons..

Could Ghost Rider save AoS and secure season 5? Or maybe a spinoff with Ghost Rider is more likely if he resonates well with the audience.

I'd definitely rather have a Ghost Rider spin-off. I need him to get his own show on Netflix and cross paths with the Punisher.

So is AoS Robbie Reyes a combination of CB Johnny Blaze's Zarathos and CB Robbie Reyes?

It performed ok in the time slot, with a 1.1/4 rating for a total of 3.58M viewers. It was big decrease over last season's premier, but consistent with last season's ratings despite the change in time slot, and a big improvement over whatever ABC put their last year.

My prediction is that AOS gets renewed for one more season, with a limited run of 12 episodes starting after the new year to bring the total up to 100. The show will be subtitled "Countdown to Infinity" and sorta/kinda tie into Infinity War in May, 2018.

I dunno. That's not much higher than what Agent Carter's second season premiere got.

Marvel’s Agent Carter opened Season 2 on Tuesday night with 3.3 million total viewers and a 1.0 demo rating — down about half from its series debut.

The premiere’s second hour drew 3 mil and a 0.9, marking series lows. The spy drama’s freshman finale left off with 4 mil and a 1.3.

And we know how that turned out. I would wager ratings may be a bit higher for some early episodes this season purely out of curiosity of seeing Ghost Rider, but they'll soon start to decline, particularly if there aren't the same number of viewers as SHIELD's previous time slot.

I actually thought the movies did the show a favor by replacing a huge invasive multinational police force with a rag tag group of outsiders trying to battle against a well financed and better organized foe. And I loved the crossovers during the end of the first year with Sitwell, Hill and Fury moving seamlessly back and forth between the two mediums.

I was disappointed that by the start of the second year Coulson had a large base and staff (who the hell was paying them?) and the tie-in that year with A:AOU wasn't nearly as well done.

Though the ratings are not much higher than AC, the 10pm slot is both more challenging and has been a very tough period for the network. An AC type rating on Tuesdays at 10 may be enough for a (limited) renewal.

I'm not optimistic about that (the ABC politics being a big factor), but I do hope they get a fifth season because it would just be so cool to build up to Infinity War.

And I assume Coulson goes back to the MCU once this show is over. They have to let the Avengers know he's alive.
