Jones would have potential if it weren't for the fact she's getting her own netflix show and will most definitely be played by a different character

Basically I'm thinking Skye leaves this show and goes onto that one...we don't know for sure that she hasn't been cast already.

There are even some visual similarities.

So Skye as Jessica Jones = the Defenders connection to MCU?

Not sure if that's what I had in mind connecting both universes.

She offered to help Peterson start a superhero career in the first episode, maybe she almost wanted to get to him first. Hire him for something else, but he wasn't Luke Cage like we all suspected.

She seems very interested in the fact you can track Shield's history inside the academy. Something is up where she knows about Bucky...She knows way too much...I don't think hacking's her only thing. She's looking into things still, knows some other things she's not saying.
Where ever she goes death follows. Jones goes by many different names: Power Woman, Jewel, Knightress, before she eventually decides she doesn't wanna be a super anymore all the time, and starts ALIAS..Some of her powers are uncontrollable, and evolve over time/can be triggered.
Skye could just be another one of her aliases.

In her own show she kinda does her own thing for a while, and starts ALIAS and Heroes for Hire, which work closely together..leading into Defenders.
But i do admit, they'd have to have someone lined up, or another character to come onto this show.
My idea is that Skye would go back and forth a bit, show up on all the Netflix shows, we'd see less of her in later seasons. She's almost the Angel of this show, instead of Buffy. Maybe more like Cordelia lol

Lizzy Braddock belongs to FOX.

Thanks, just sifting through all of the female Chinese Marvel characters with super powers significant enough to be considered objects of unknown origin.

There aren't many to choose from, assuming they aren't creating a new one.

Chan's power set would be a cool addition. Certainly different than the usual superstrength.

I don't think race really matters much. She looks a lot like Jones in some images tho.

Chan (Sway) is a mutant too? If so she's off the table.

We don't know that for certain. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are mutants, but they're not off the table. We know that the deal with Fox wasn't a blanket "we get exclusive film rights to all the mutant characters." There is, floating around somewhere, a list of names that Fox gets, a list of names that Marvel keeps, and at least two of those names appear on both lists. We don't know who is and is not available until someone tells us.

I also think Spiderwoman is very likely...From all the clues about her background, I really think it narrows things down to one of those two Jessicas. If she's not an original character.

Watch her use Jessica (but no last name) as her "undercover" name in the next episode lol

Nothing about her background even slightly hints at Jessica Jones. Drew is a maybe, they're not exactly the same but they're still closer than Skye and Jones by quite a lot.

Since I don't think she hasn't appeared outside of an X-Men title I figure she's almost certainly wrapped up with them. Any exceptions will likely have origins or strong links with non X-Men books (Like Pietro & Wanda).

Jessica Jones parents were killed in a very similar way to Jessica Drew.

There are many hints she's Jones...Coulson practically spells out ALIAS in one episode

No they weren't. Jessica Jones' parents died in a car accident in New York when she was 16. They weren't murdered by a mysterious paramilitary organization in China when she was a baby.

There are over 30 different hints she's Jones...Coulson practically spells out ALIAS in one episode

Name some, please.

Just a thought...China borders with Tibet and also has the Himalayas run through a part of it.

Now where did a certain group of mutant like ready made supers (that Marvel can and surely will use in the future) come from when they first appeared?

You're right, I wasn't too familiar with Jones until I just double checked, i thought she was a lot younger when the car accident with the chemicals happened and that this could be moved to china.

Sorry, was thinking chemicals were the object of unknown origin but mixing my memories of the characters too much.

The Asset Index thing Coulson said in one episode sounded kinda like he spelled out ALIAS, a few other hints she's launching her own investigation not behaving in ways that spiderwoman would..

Maybe she is Spiderwoman, but there's a lot of weird things in the show.

In the first episode she told Peterson she could help him erase his identity
Her own identity has been erased.
She already operates under an alias.

A lot of those things work for both Jessicas, but you're right, I'm now starting to think she has to be Spiderwoman, if she's anyone.

The pilot also aired and was filmed before marvel even dreamed of netflix shows. So its possible at one point in time she was indeed going to be Jessica. But im pretty confident that ship has sailed.

Im leaning towards Jessica Drew orCarmilla Black

Blacks original origin would have made her the daughter of viper in the comics. Another hinted at fatherfforr her in the books is Bruce banner himself. Her adoptive parents were murdered and in the books her mother was the scientist supreme of AIM. the girl has deep ties to both AIM and hydra

Im pretty confident that no matter who she is or what powers she has... Im pretty certain its Hydra/AIM after her. And because of her story line shield will discover they still exist

Carmilla Black is definitely possible. She would fit better with why "death follows her" and the asian location.

Whoever it is knows about Bucky and I'm starting to think they're a bigger character who has knowledge of the other groups,
And in spiderwoman's case she has a lot of her own connections to Hydra/brainwashing.

I'm really thinking Spider-woman now, but there are things that are too perfect with the Carmilla Black thing, could easily be her too. Especially after this episode/the small village getting killed.

Carmilla would actually make a lot of sense. It would definitely explain what happened to her adoptive parents. Now that I think about it there are way too many things starting to point in that direction..Her coming after Shield for thinking they killed her real parents, and finding out they were shield agents is way too similar...
She seems amused that Shield's history is out in the open like that. I think she's definitely knowledgeable about Hydra or AIM...Some things about Killian calling himself "Killian the Great" twice in IM3, make me think Killian is related to Alexander the Great, instead of Genghis Khan... Shane Black has talked about how the real ten rings is ancient in origin. I think some of these groups go further back than WW2, Hydra traces its roots to Egypt, Killian to Macedonia/Greece. Maybe real 10 rings goes back to Genghis Khan's time...

Just saw the last episode. Easily the best episode by far. If the rest of the season will be equally as good or better, we are in for a great second half.
