Damn you people who have seen Cap2 or are allowing yourself to be spoiled! I can't bring myself to do it. After I got too antsy and spoiled parts of IM3 for myself I haven't allowed myself to spoil Thor2, Cap2, or GotG (I still loved IM3 but would have liked to be surprised by it like I was in TDKR)

Haha I think I'm going to try and go during the day on the day it's released since I can't go at midnight due to work. Or just wait until the weekend and take my little brother.

I've resisted the spoilers so far while still being active elsewhere on the forums, but I'll be staying away from here and CBM for like the week before the release until I see it. My will power must stay strong!

I did the opposite of what you did. I didn't know anything about Iron Man 3's plot beyond what Marvel released themselves, so the twist both blew my mind and broke my heart (Although I'm okay with it now). With TDKR, I knew almost everything about it. For some reason I didn't care about being spoiled. In retrospect maybe the movie wouldn't have been as boring as it was if I didn't spoil myself.

Well, considering it's only speculation at this point, I don't see why it would be necessary to put spoilers around an idea that basically everyone has had since we first heard about The Clairvoyant. Maybe you haven't been keeping up with the show, but that's your problem for coming onto a site known as SuperHeroHype expecting not to have some things potentially spoiled for you. Anyhow, what does it matter anyway? I never understood why people cared so much about having comic-book adaptations spoiled for them, especially considering the years of material they have at their disposal. You should be happy to hear the guesses that people have, I known I sure am, as I find it's a part of the fun of watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the first place, the fact that it brings fans together, and allows them to discuss the Marvel universe in a fun and unique way while learning of things from the comics that they've never known about before. There are so many subtle details in the show that make it compelling to watch when you're a fan of the universe and sometimes the only way to pick up on those nuances is by listening and learning from others who may know more about the comics than you.

My speculation is based on spoilers regarding TWS.

I can see Coulson's team [BLACKOUT]being a sort of mini-SHIELD after SHIELD as we know it has fallen, with the new SHIELD eventually growing to be the same size as the original SHIELD. Except this time, the new SHIELD would be more tuned to Coulson's ideals and morals,[/BLACKOUT] which would also serve as a payoff to the "SHIELD is corrupt" theme that the MCU has been building since the beginning.

It depends on who's left to run SHIELD in the fallout of the movie. We don't know if Victoria Hand, Agent Blake, Keonig, Garrett or Triplett are a part of the conspiracy. If they aren't, you got a smaller SHIELD Organization with Hand in charge of everything with Fury in Europe and Hill working for Tony Stark.

Remember the show has their own team of SHIELD Agents outside of Coulson's team in Victoria Hand, Agent Blake, John Garrett, Agent Triplett and coming soon Agent Koenig.
