Barry should stop by more often!

Assuming Supergirl gets renewed, I am absolutely certain they will try to arrange at least one crossover episode next season, more if they can manage it. The bump was just too huge for them to resist.

Maybe Kara will get to visit The Flash and Arrow, hey I can dream can't I?

Yet it is not the renewal announce and the season was over...It's panic time!!!!!
They haven't renewed any freshman series yet.

We likely won't hear anything until the May upfronts. This is not a reason to worry.

As I keep saying, there's no reason to think CBS will cancel its top rated new drama.

According to TVGuide.com, Limitless and Code Black have been renewed for second seasons. But it hasn't really been made 'official.' Sites such as TV By the Numbers aren't quite so optimistic of CB's renewal, though.

As for last night's ratings, they adjusted up to a 1.3/4, which equals the season low. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2016/04/19/monday-final-ratings-april-18-2016/

TVGuide, being owned by CBS, is in a far better position to be "in the know" when it comes to what is going to be renewed than sites like Zap2it's TV By the Numbers, and since we already knew that the network was planning on renewing pretty much every one of its Freshman series, renewal rumors for Limitless and Code Black really aren't all that surprising.

I fully expect that we will in fact see those two series renewed, along with Supergirl, Life in Pieces, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

And BTW......NBC's top new drama Blindspot hit the same season low as Supergirl on Monday....1.3

So seriously people, what is with the "time to panic" talk. As Cat would say.... "Calm the hell down"...:cwink:

As I said earlier, CBS has already made the decision to renew the series and informed the individuals involved in producing it. They're simply waiting to announce the decision publicly, so Kelly's right: Calm the hell down.

Or, to put it another way, Keep Calm and Donut On (just like the cast and crew of the series did with their Daily Donut moment).

The show has actually gotten pretty good, who would have thought that Supergirl could be exciting?

Where is the article about Limitless and Code Black renew? I don't find it on TVGuide

They haven't been renewed...

Being on a list is not the same as an announcement.
CBS has not renewed Code Black and Limitless.
Not officially at least.

Ratings news....

The ratings for the 19th episode "Myriad" +7 ratings went up .7 from 1.3 to 2.0 another great 7 day percentage increase for Supergirl.

The ratings for the 20th episode "Better Angels" +3 went up .5 from 1.3 to 1.8...

Since they are now getting 30 day information from DVR, OnDemand, iTunes and Amazon, I wish they would give that information, but maybe next year. :)

Power-packed so to speak. I have heard of L+3 and L+7. Now I guess there's L+30????

Yes, the networks have started looking at that as well since people's viewing choices have changed. I'm interested in seeing the changes that are made for the 2016-17 ratings systems....I think we will see some changes for sure this next year since Same Day TV viewings have dropped over 50%....

Looking forward to the May 18 announcements. Supergirl is the highest rated superhero show. Highest rated comic book shows? That goes to Walking Dead and Supergirl is second.

I expect it to be renewed with budget cuts. I like the action sequences of the show and don't want them to be compromised or replaced with soap opera elements.

They will streamline it for sure....which can happen simply by better planning especially to get it down to an 8 day shoot rather than the 11 day shoots of the 1st season .

I'd hate to see the big guy go, but think of how much money the producers could save if they dropped blurry/just off in the distance/"Oh shoot-you just missed him!" Superman from the lineup. He doesn't work cheap.

In all seriousness, I like (most of) the characters on the show more than I did the villains of the week, which imo were often poorly designed. And the scenes in which she took on real world problems - stopping the bank heist, preventing a vehicular accident, flying a car to safety, putting a stop to bullying, and especially foiling the robbery whilst depowered - were the ones I remember most fondly. Budget cuts that bring Kara closer to the street level may not be the worst thing for the show.
