Supergirl All About The Ratings!!!!!!

Arrow is on this week.

I just saw that.... so, I guess they will be off some other time when the others are on. Or is it a repeat? Flash was a repeat.

I think Flash may have wanted an extra week for the extra SFX work Grodd requires.

It is a new episode. Arrow goes on a break after an episode on the 1st of March. I not sure when it comes back as a date has not been confirmed yet.

The CW didn't want to air new episodes on Valentine's Day. Legends of Tomorrow was also off, so it wasn't anything Flash centric.

DC/Marvel scoreboard for the week

Supergirl: 0.8
Powerless: 0.8
Arrow: 0.6
Agents of SHIELD: 0.6
Legion: 0.53

Good week for Supergirl.

Powerless is still dead.

Arrow is flat, but the unrounded number was much better than last week, at least in the prelims

SHIELD is back down after being at 0.7 last week. If by some miracle this show gets renewed it will be because of syndication, streaming, and international TV. These ratings on ABC are absolutely horrible. A 0.6 on ABC is like a 0.2 on CW.

Legion had a typical second week drop. Hopefully it doesn't fall too much lower for the last six episodes. Still on track for renewal.

It is the time slot for SHIELD.....they are picking up really nice in the +3 and +7 ratings, which tells me they screwed up moving it.

The gain in terms of percentage is impressive but in absolute terms, SHIELD is still doing significantly worse than Lucifer, Gotham, or Flash in the L+7.

A 1.5 in the L+7 on ABC is still really, really, bad.

The audience just doesn't care about the show. The year by year declines SHIELD has seen are unlike anything any other comic show has experienced
Season 1: 2.40 average rating
Season 2: 1.59 average rating (-34%)
Season 3: 1.18 average rating (-26%)
Season 4: 0.76 average rating (-36%)

Am I wrong, or did it seem like they stopped caring about SHIELD about the middle of this year, Possibly when they weren't going to get a Ghost Rider spinoff?

Like I said, the show has been almost constantly declining since its premiere. You can't really pin it on any one thing; the overall trend has always been down with a few blips up or flat here and there.

I think had Riverdale fallen flatter than either of those two they would have kept at least one of them at the least for another abbreviated season. But, yeah both are gone, gone, gone...

I stopped caring about SHIELD season before last..... :csad:

I know I haven't cared about it for a couple of seasons now.

IMO, Agents of SHIELD (especially its writing) has actually improved over time. But obviously, this hasn't done much for the ratings.

It would literally be the first time in the history of network television a fall non-limited series got renewed despite no back order. The two shows were de facto canceled the minute Legends of Tomorrow got a back order and they didn't.

ok...

I have only watched a couple of episodes of SHIELD this fall.
I used to be a big fan.

While the rating is the same as last week, viewership was 2.24 million. I wonder if this is because of President's Day.

3 day weekend for many, so maybe...

We should see a nice bump on the +7.

Last week was a 0.770 and this week was a 0.675 though, so even in the unroundeds it was still almost a 0.1 drop. Yeah, probably President's Day.
