God Loves, Man Kills. Still one of my absolute favorite X-men stories. I feel that if there is one story that represents who the X-men are, it's this one.

I find DoFP is diluted quite a bit due to having been revisited, retconned and changed in a number of ways over the years while God loves Man kills is still pretty much unchanged besides what they took in X2.

Besides, its pretty much the distilled version of what the X-Men stand for and shows kids how racism/religious zealotry are able to make people act like they do in the face of common sense.

The Weapon X novel was interesting but the comic just made Wolverine even more confusing to the point where they added Romulus to the mix.
