This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]347137[/split]
Bye! Thats no big loss. She and Jean Grey never seem to co-exist within the X-men at the same time and since I expect to see Jean return in 2012, someone's gotta goI see Rachel dying then.
Too many red headed women with access to the PF. Yeah, Rachel's totally redundantI can see Rachel dying, but not because Jean is coming back. Hope is the current Phoenix, and they seem to be taking their sweet precious time with that one. The longer Rachel and Hope co-exist, the longer fans will wonder why Rachel hasn't explained the Phoenix Force, and that's likely going to be Jean's job.
One thing I've noticed lately (and I can only wonder if the writers did this on purpose) is that all of the original 5 X-Men are in pieces. I don't just mean that they're broken up as a group. I mean Jean is going through a cycle of deaths and rebirths while coping with a cosmic entity, Warren is trying to control his darker half, Bobby is disillusioned and pretty much hopeless (Fraction wrote him as uncharacteristically nihilistic shortly after the team moved to Utopia), Hank got fed up and left, and now Scott is taking more extreme measures. It's like the burden of protecting the people who hate them while also serving as models for the rest of the mutant race was way too damn much for a bunch of kids to handle, and now they're all cracking in their 30's. Bobby's even going out of his way to tell the new kids that they'll never be as good as his original class all the time..
sleepingIt's Alex, Lorna, andCloud StrifeKorvus! Where's Rache?
Haha, that might be the case. As much as Ive hated that the X-Jammers have been in limbo, the one good thing about that is that it also meant Rachel wasnt around...lolYou dislike her like I loathe Hope lol
