I've noticed that a lot of people who dislike Man of Steel say bizarre stuff and outright make things up. It's not enough to dislike or hate the film you have to act idiotic about your dislike or hate. To be fair people do the same thing with other films so MOS is not alone in that regard.

Anyway I'm moving on from this talk because this thread isn't about MOS.

Yeah. It's by no means an exclusive thing to MOS but I do notice it more with that film than others.

The FFINO boards are probably the most enjoyable and yet, most depressing board on here.

This is largely dictated by how I'm not much of a F4 fan, but I'm still hopeful from the talent involved that we still have a shot at a good story/film.

I'm sure if something like Batman Returns were constantly reported about all throughout production, the boards would've burned to the ground. But it turned out pretty damn great (for me at least), albeit sacrificing many of the canonical elements we've held dear.

Part of the reason why the FFINO boards are hell on Earth is the damn silence from Fox. Some people believe the movie won't be released now, I don't think the film will be an abomination, but I'm really curious about the Doom thing...

Yeah Fox's silence is one of the big reasons that FF looks like such a disaster to a lot of fans. We know and have seen more from BvS than we have for FF and BvS comes out in 2016.

Reminds me of a movie from 2014, which was based on a comic book, that the entire internet had already decided was a major flop and disaster, which the studio declined to show anything from till they felt it was the right time to, of which every single detail which leaked made it look worse and worse.

Then, it released in August, opened #1, made almost 200M in the US and 500M worldwide because the people who go to watch the movie are not the same people who complain online (and the people who complain will watch anyway). The movie, of course, is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Yeah, movies are not an area where no news is good news. Fans let their imaginations run wild if there's no details. And they do that enough when details are present.
