I'd take any of those three actresses for Waller. If I had to pick one, I'd probably got with Spencer.

But seriously. Spencer, Davis, Winfrey. I'll be pumped regardless.

Viola Davis, especially after "How to get away with murder", her role in that show is effectively a proto-Amanda Waller.

She just doesn't give me the right vibe for Amanda Waller. Waller should be tough and intimidating and Oprah seems too approachable to me.

2 minutes in.

And to anyone who didn't know Oprah could act, or had ever acted....... do know that she is a multiple time Oscar nominee.

Hell..... she was up for multiple awards (including the Oscar) just this past awards season.

Warner/DC definitely has a different economic model for casting than Disney/Marvel

So am I right to assume that he is implying that WB/DC pays actors better than Marvel? Like paying them what their asking price are?

Boomerang = Flash
Enchantress = Justice League Dark (and the first villain they ever faced)
Joker & Harley = Batman

JL: Dark is coming baby.

WB has deeper pockets than Marvel....yes Marvel has the Mouse behind it but the Mouse tends to stay out of Marvel's business.

And its not just this.

Due to Warners being a studio that handles more than just Superhero films (unlike Marvel), they can offer more incentives than just money and exposure from being involved.

Like Affleck. He's getting alot back from Warners (distribution, financing, etc.) for his own projects, in exchange for playing Batman.

Not convinced by this. She has to be stern, tough and intimidating for the entire movie and not just pissed in one short scene.

I'm not saying that she can't pull it off, though, just that this scene does nothing to convince me.

That was her character in the whole movie

Watch The Color Purple.

That entire role (up until the latter second, and third act) was her being tough and intimidating.

They didn't hand her an Oscar nomination for that role because she's Oprah.

She's actually only been nominated for one Oscar. She did win a Humanitarian Oscar though.

I see...
I will, thanks for informing me guys!

And I usually like this kind of films so I find it strange that it completely flew under my radar.

This is correct.

She was a notable snub at the Oscars this year. I do remember her getting alot of acclaim for the Butler, though.

Anybody wish they'd just go ahead and cast C.C.H Pounder? She's practically been the definitive voice for the past 10 years.

directed by Spielberg too

It's an aweseome cast. But Cara Delevingne I think was more suited to Harley Quinn than Enchantress. Margot Robbie would probably be better at both. Not much to say about the rest, they're nearly all 1st choices for their roles.

Guys... Can your brains even comprehend this?

Ben Affleck - Batman
Henry Cavill - Superman
Gal Gadot - Wonder Woman
Jason Momoa - Aquaman
Ezra Miller - The Flash
Ray Fisher - Cyborg
Jeremy Irons - Alfred Pennyworth
Amy Adams - Lois Lane
Laurence Fishburne - Perry White
Diane Lane - Martha Kent
Jared Leto - The Joker
Jesse Eisenberg - Lex Luthor
Margot Robbie - Harley Quinn
Will Smith - Deadshot
Dwayne Johnson - Black Adam
Tom Hardy - Rick Flagg
Jai Courtney - Boomerang
Cara Delevingne – Enchantress

Ben Affleck, Will Smith, and The Rock in the same cinematic universe!!

Haven't thought about this at all. It surely comes useful when aiming for an A-list actor/actress.

We are probably around 4 months away from a picture of Margot Robbie in the Harley Quinn costume. I need to see that, for, uh ... science. Yes, that's it, for science.
