So there's no Gordon in this film and Alfred has a small role. Yet all of Superman's supporting cast is there...seems like this movie may be more Superman centric

Possibly. But i disagree when you say they can't make Lex win with a title like "Dawn of Justice". Lex could win this battle but lose the war in Justice League. Luthor's temporary victory over Superman could be the exact thing that inspires Batman to create the Justice League. Lex's actions = the Dawn of Justice. The final scene will be a positive one because it will most likely end with the formation of the League, standing together. Whether that's with or without Superman, we don't know.

Well, it's not official. But why else would there be a funeral for Superman or whatever the hell is happening. I barely looked at those pics so i dont remember if it was a funeral or a statue for him. But he is obviously seen as a dead man in this movie. How would he die before the end? It's Batman vs Superman. He's not going to be killed off halfway by Doomsday before a battle of Bats/Supes. So the end will include Batman and Wonder Woman vs Doomsday with Supes returning? That sounds awful. And makes no sense. Doomsday kills him at the end.

Let's face facts, that's not going to happen. I honestly don't want to read all of whichever rumors in case many of them are true. I don't want to know 75℅ of what's going to happen before seeing the film.

There was a statue. No proof or evidence that it was to commemorate Superman's death. Likely to commemorate his heroics at the end of MOS. How does it make any sense for Superman to die before the end of the second movie he's appeared in? A film that is meant to bring Batman and Superman together, and jumpstart the JL? How is that earned?

Plus, they'd be depriving themselves of the impact and classic imagery that came with Superman's death -- the Justice League carrying his casket together, included.

The aftermath provided more iconic imagery (his funeral) and story ripples throughout the DCU. It just doesn't make sense for it to happen now. And where does Batman fit into that scenario?

It makes a hell of a lot more sense for that to take place at the end of the first JL movie than it does here.

I explained why it would be earned.

Will it happen? Maybe not. Maybe this movie ends with the entire League. But i do believe Doomsday is in this. How is a statue earned at the start of Bats vs Supes? IMO it isn't. He didn't earn it. But to be honest, i dont like any statue or funeral crap anyhow because it just reminds me of Dark Knight Rises. Which i've said in the past. See, now it's coming back to me lol.

The point of the movie does not have to be about bringing Bats and Supes together while on screen. We all want some kind of handshake or nod at the end, but it doesn't need to happen. Respect between the two could be earned and Superman could be "killed" off at the end. Which would trigger the Justice League.

Nah... I'll still let you all know that speaking about stuff that's rumored at this point as if you have a copy of the shooting script as unwise. Cuz it is.
