Yeah, but all those people laying flowers? If someone plugged me to a lie detector, put a gun to my head and said "You lie, you die! What do these pictures suggest?", I'd answer "Yup, looks like a funeral". Not a second wasted. Cause I don't wanna die.

We also saw that the statue is actually destroyed in the movie. If the whole statue was used for a memorial for a dead Superman, then who destroyed the statue and where does the movie go from there where someone has obviously destroyed it while Superman is dead.

There was an Anti Superman group scene filmed where they were burning effigies . Maybe them.

I don't know how reliable 'Batman-News' is, but they reported a while back that the statue gets built for him after Zod's invasion.

"Batman-News"? It's mostly reliable I find. More than most of these sites. They make some mistakes of course, but they haven't been trying to pass rumors as facts.

And I didn't know about the rumor. Or don't remember it, too much alcohol passes through my system on regular basis I guess. It does make sense though, more than Superman dying in BvS, at least to me.

Heh. I get your point. Thought can't they just pay respects to a godlike being that saved their lives in the same manner?

Superman should die in every DC movie. He can become the Kenny of the DCU.

For Goyer, Krypton will mark his third series on the air joining Constantine and Starz's Da Vinci's Demons. The longtime comics fan counts scores of fanboy favorites among his credits, including The Dark Knight trilogy and the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

All of Faraci's Star Wars scoops turned out to be true, so i trust the guy.

Faraci does say that "a climatic fight scene" takes place in Gotham. So if Superman dies, he'd die in Gotham... or there are two climatic fights taking place in separate cities.

Hello Dave. :funny:

Where is my Krypton sub forum???

You guys think WB might be trying not to repeat what Gotham is doing on tv? I mean, Gordon and a young/origin version of Bruce is the center of that show. Having zero or an extremely limited amount of scenes with Jim in this film universe may be because Fox has that character on network television every week. He's the protagonist.

I just read that they're going through with that Titans show which has Dick Grayson as the leader. As Nightwing.

Is it possible that Ezra Miller is playing Wally West, in name, even if he is more like Barry? Just to make it different from television.

There's nothing ":whatever:" worth there though, you'd do a better job of predicting the outcomes in these movies by observing the swallow's flight than trusting Faraci's scoops.

Only Faraci believes in Faraci scoops. Though sometimes I even question that too.

So Arrow, Flash, Constantine, Gotham, Supergirl, Preacher, Teen Titans, Krypton? I know I'll be watching them all but is it too much?

I love the fact that Faraci is reading these boards while we're dismissing him. Who's he gonna screen cap this time to complain to his minions about? :hehe:

My only issue with these DC shows is that they're on so many different channels. I won't be able to keep up.

I'll give Krypton a shot because I really dug the glimpse of Krypton that we got in Man of Steel. I know it won't be connected to the DCCU.

I have zero problems believing Faraci has his studio sources. Same as El Mayimbe, same as many of these guys. Could he be wrong, sure, but it's silly confusing "I don't like the guy" with "He's always teh wrong".

Krypton, Titans, Gotham, Flash, Arrow, Constantine, Agents of Shield..

As far as im concerned, comic book properties or superhero stories have no business on television. I'm only talking about live-action. I feel like the writers, producers and actors should be making direct to DVD movies for WWE. That's how bad i think it is. The only show i haven't checked out was Constantine.

Of course, here comes the hate. Since a good chunk of you love what's happening on tv with these characters. But i dont care, i can't stand it. They all feel like soap operas.

As much as i nitpick Man Of Steel and what they may or may not do with Batman v Superman, im content they had the smarts to keep this film universe its own thing. But if Goyer is writing Krypton, it should be connected, starring Russell Crowe on HBO or something. As a mini-series.

Russell Crowe is a very busy man and frankly TV can't afford him.
