This is the time logic I use to get through Monday's.

That's actually little kid at Christmas time logic. We just adapt it for Mondays when we get old enough to know how Monday's suck.

Eh. 5 per year seems like too much even for me.

I binge watch entire TV seasons, which easily exceed over a dozen hours in a period of a week or so.

Comparatively, 10 hours over the course of a year is miniscule. A drop in the bucket to my entertainment viewing.

Also no one ever says, "those were some exhilarating couple of hours. I don't want anymore".

Right, but that's for lack of quality on any given production. Not necessarily by the amount produced by all the studios in a specific time frame.

I'm not really sure that is true. A prospective audience may groan under a surfeit of any genre. Differentiation may hold the answer, which is why things like Justice League Dark pique my interest.

That would go back to the original point there have been no concrete examples of audiences being averse to consistently well produced films.

I think opening with SUICIDE SQUAD in this first slate and hearing about Gaiman involved with SANDMAN shows that WB is tapping a wide variety of material from the DC world and this bodes well to their approach come future projects. While I don't expect SPACE CABBIE: THE MOVIE anytime soon, there is a nice wide range between doing an adaptation of SANDMAN and doing things like SUICIDE SQUAD while also doing tent poles like JUSTICE LEAGUE or WONDER WOMAN. So could we see LEGION OF SUPER HEROES or HAWK AND DOVE, some more of the beaten path ideas like ELONGATED MAN or CHALLENGERS OF THE UNKNOWN? I hope so.

No doubt Aziz, they have great potential for TV. I do think a we will get some interesting choices from WB/DC though along those lines and I'll be happy if it is so.
