I sure hope you're right. Him being GL is very underwhelming for me.

The 2011 film ruined Hal, who was already hurting by the fat that the most well known GL to general audiences is John Stewart, due to his appearance in the JL cartoon.

That's not why or how I want Green Lantern to be cast but whatever, I know I'm a white male so I don't get to say what's right or wrong.
Just whoever it is...be good at it and faithful.

Well, I'd say it's the responsibility of everyone in Hollywood to promote as much diversity as possible. WB is really good at this, way better than even Marvel/Disney. That's why I won't be surprised if they do choose Stewart for the GL character.

But Tyrese himself has no responsibility to take this role solely because he's black. Stewert will be played by a black guy no matter what. It's not like they're deciding between him a white dude for the part.

There are plenty of good black actors to fill this responsibility. It's not all on Tyrese, since he's not the only black man left on the planet.

Thus, WB's responsibility is to choose from the many capable black men who are interested in this part and hire the most suitable. That's the only responsibility involved in this issue.

I really think we should just let him be a shameless attention ****e. It'll lessen the chance he actually gets the part.

Unfortunately, he knows the Rock, Gal, and probably Cavill, through Gina Carano. Those three are major players in the DCCU and could talk him up for the part. So while it's not exactly probable that he'll succeed at landing the role, it is possible.

So I say let him make an a-- of himself. It hurts him and helps the DCCU.

It's called sarcasm. Look it up.
And again it's not "many scenes that force her to cry' it's been at most maybe 3, and each time was entirely appropriate for the story they were trying to tell. If you had your way, she'd be a one-dimensional character and very boring and unrealistic.

I agree, all I'm saying is that he shouldn't just expect that he has a good chance to get the role because of the colour of his skin. It's stupid. He needs to be right for the part. Just like Michael B Jordan for Johnny Storm, Johnny is usually a white guy, but Jordan is (hopefully) the right guy for the part.
