The thought occurs to me that Snyder may want a major Justice League member to die in the first or second JL film. A veteran Hal Jordan might be a strong contender to fill that role, with John Stewart then taking over as the new Green Lantern. If you're casting for a splashy one- or two-film performance rather than looking for someone to sign up for the long haul that might open up more casting possibilities.

i agree. that was something i was going to mention considering all the discussions that have been had regarding what lantern to use.

JL: Mortal killed off Barry Allen in the script with Wally taking over at the end of the movie. They could do that with GL this time around for sure.

Yes. That's actual suit color.

It appears its been fixed with BvS, but that original suit was very sensitive to light, and would look flushed out easily.

Damn straight. Especially considering Berlanti and Guggenheim's original script was great. But alas, Campbell came on board, had it rewritten, and the rest is history.
