people are always saying "its too soon for bla bla bla, the movie is coming out so far from now" but really... we are the only ones that care about these things. no one gives a **** about seeing Joker or whatever a year and a half before the movie release. It doesn't matter when these things are released REALLY. The batfleck picture was released sooooo long before the movie is going to be released. It just started the hype train. the whole picture release schedule matters VERY little to the general public. All that realllllly matters to the general public is the trailer and the few months leading up to the movies release.

True, but the difference is that when Snyder released the Batman photo they were already filming. SS hasn't started yet and I'm pretty sure they are still in pre-production right now and the actors are training/getting fitted for costumes/makeup etc. I just don't think they're ready to release something like that. WB operates VERY different from Marvel, Marvel can release a picture of Black Panther whose movie is 3 years from now because thats how they operate but WB plays things close to the chest.

I'm only saying this because I've noticed an unhealthy trend of fans expecting something big to happen only to be disappointed especially when its DCCU related. Just sayin', keep your expectations in check, we're not getting a photo of Batman and the Joker.

They did give us Aquaman who will be in JL in 2017 too. I'm almost 100% sure Black Panther will be in Age of Ultron just like Aquaman is in BvS, so it's not that crazy for a pic of BP to be released now.

I really doubt you'll get a pic of Leto in full makeup. Maybe with him shaved and his haircut and sitting in the makeup chair. But not full on Jokerface. More than likely they will try several different applications and take pics for David to mull over and choose from.

I doubt Ayer's tweet about something awesome coming tomorrow would be Leto shaven..

Um there isn't going to be a picture of Batman and The Joker I'm sure. Suicide Squad isn't a Batman movie, at best Batman will have a cameo. Doubtful that WB would go through with really, really false marketing pointing to it being some sort of Batman movie.

Furthermore it would be odd for Ayer to warn us that something is going to be released and it's just Leto in a chair. I think people will rightfully be pretty pissed off about that. I believe it's either additional casting or a Joker picture.

Last time a DC film director dropped a "tomorrow" tweet like Ayers did, we got a picture of Batman. As much as my instincts are telling me to downplay this as much as possible, I want to believe something hype is about to drop. Most likely Joker related, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was unrelated to Joker, but still an awesome reveal for this film. (maybe another character?)

I agree with this, if Batman's reveal isn't "too early" then why would a Joker reveal be? They can show him in a sort of hidden way.

This is so true. At first when it was announced I was confused as to why they would put SS right after BvS but now it just makes perfect sense.

Oh btw everyone, I swear to the heavens I am not lying about this but, last night (before any of this was being teased by Ayer) I had a dream where Leto's Joker was released! It was just a profile shot of him but you could see he was wearing a white jacket, he looked exactly like TDKR joker, he wasn't smiling or anything either, just a blank face. No joke, just remembered and am scared now haha

I'm quite excited for the whole DCCU but the fact that SS will be the film following BvS just five months after oh lawwd
