I am only leery about putting it in front of Avengers if Disney puts the first full Star Wars trailer with Avengers as well. I think that's the only film that could steal it's early buzz.

Star Wars is rumored to premiere in the middle of April at the Star Wars Celebration. It would be old news by then.

John Stewart is the best way to go. Im not the biggest Hal fan. He's good when paired with Barry but i dont want two comic relief characters, or one of those getting short-changed in that department.

Hal and Barry are not known for being comic relief duo, even as members of the Justice League, they are pretty serious together.

I actually didn't think about that. I just assumed it would be online as well. It would be a problem then.

I imagine it'll the same scenario as when they dropped the Episode VII teaser. I thought it was so stupid that it was going to play in certain theaters and then release online the following Monday and I'm glad Disney came to their senses and released it online on Black Friday.

MOS did. And I believe Warners also did with TDK and TDKR.

Granted, those were VERY basic teasers, but they were effective.

Yup. In Geoff Johns' JL run, Hal has/says some humorous things or moments, but its not like he's a walking punchline. And Barry barely has any humorous moments.

And even if they were a comedic duo, you could bet that Barry would be the straight man.

They went an entire shoot without a single pic of Batman in costume leaking out. Pretty sure they can hide Joker as long as they want, especially since he is supposed to be a 'Hannibal Lecter' type character.

Anyway, John Stewart couldn't be THE "serious" one because there already are Batman and Aquaman.
But I do think it will be him in the League (with a sense of duty, but not the most serious member), Flash will be Wally joking around and Cyborg will be full of energy, but not a funny guy.
