Given on how we're getting Dawn of Justice (a film that will set the foundations for the Justice League) and Suicide Squad (a film that will introduce the world to the Villains of the DCCU), do you guys think that it would be logical for the Justice League to have the Legion of Doom/Secret Society/Injustice League be their first villains in Part 1? Or should they just have the League go up against a lone powerful individual capable of creating/bringing his own armies for the League to face? (aka Brainiac or Darkseid)?

I like the possible symmetry that the Legion of Doom idea has but initially I think it would be better to have one lone villain and then have the Legion band together as a direct result of the Leagues creation. Sort of a cause and effect type of thing.

How about both. Brainiac main threat with Lex and whichever combination of villains they choose are also in play/working together or using Brainiac as a diversion at the same time?

Very true. I wouldn't want the job that's for sure! I think it's safe to say they have got it all planned out already anyway. Oh to be a fly on the wall at Zacks meetings! (unless Zack is having a video call meeting while naked in the hot tub...then I don't want to be that fly. Unless he is "away on business" and his hot tub contains three "high class ladies" all auditioning for the role of Power Girl! then I will be super happy to be the awesome fly once again).

I would love a legion of doom film

Just imagine Lex at the end of Suicide Squad sparking a relationship with Joker. Like a single conversation scene in Arkham where it shows just how manipulative both their characters are- but they do it different ways. They are so opposite and calculating yet it's evil that brings them together.

Bat/Supes vs Joker/Lex. It's a cute symmetry.

Wasn't the big rumor that Brainiac was the JL Part 1 villain? I'd want it to set itself apart from the Avengers, so an Earth-based threat sounds cool to me. But the Suicide Squad guys aren't on the same power level as the JL, I suppose they'd have to introduce more villains.

My bet is on an alien threat, though. Brainiac and Darkseid, both too big to go to waste. Even though I'd love to see something Kingdom Come-ish.

I really like that the DCCU is the dark horse of the cinematic universes. When it does start coming together, people are going to be so surprised and amazed, that it's all people will talk about. If BvS and Suicide Squad are good, Marvel movies will be old news.

I'd love to see Project Cadmus done, then the Legion of Doom spawn from shutting down that project for the sequel.

Im secretly hoping that a Project Cadmus story line is woven into Suicide Squad as a government counter-measure to Supermans arrival.

Unlike the setup for the Avengers in its own cinematic universe, I can't see any branch or form of government being keen at the idea of a group of superheroes banding together in unison.

The revelation of Superman's existence shook everything in the DCU, so it's not unreasonable to assume that Superman being part of a super powered group wouldn't do the same as well.

It would be a good contrast to the Waller and Fury comparisons. One wanted to band superheroes together and the other one wants to make sure that the opportunity never comes about.

And everyone is going to love it. It'll be one of those moments people mention in a few years, recalling what happened to the Hype when the BvS trailer released. Every second user is going to turn into that dude on bath salts.

That would be tricky position for Waller to justify seeing as the only reason any human on earth is still alive is because of Superman, but I would like the contrast.
