Are you reading my posts? Cavill is in JL1. Superman is in JL1. I can't say it more succinctly.

Joking aside, Id love to see a moment like that in BvS. Batman cant deal a whole lot of physical damage to Supes but this was always one of the few ways he showed that he wouldnt back down.

And doesn't it make infinitely more sense to assume, even though we are all in a place of relative ignorance regarding these movies, that Superman will be in JL2 as well? It's just the most likely scenario, as opposed to your odd conspiracy theories.

I still think it must just be denial on your part. You didn't like Cavill and therefore hope, against all odds, that he's recast. And you know, I can sympathize on some level. I was pretty despondent during the years when it seemed like Brandon "blank stare" Routh was going to be Superman for an entire series of movies.

But there comes a time when we all have to realize that they're just actors. And it's just a movie. And it will be ok. Someone you don't like was cast and that's the way of it sometimes. Why fret and conspire over something you have no control over? We all have little worries (I know I do) over things we consider hobbies, but you seem particularly paranoid and have been going on about this for months. Just wait for the movies and perhaps Cavill won't be as bad as you thought.

No, Cavill will not be recast. Whether Superman continues to be in the DC film universe after JL1 is the question. If he does it will be Cavill. I've said that several times today.

Why would DC kill off Superman after three appearances and no solo sequel?

That's not really the crux of the issue here is it? Whether you want superman recast or minimized in subsequent films makes no difference. My point is that you seem to be coming up with these theories based on nothing but distaste for an actor, while failing to realize that the actor is generally well liked in the part and will probably be in the part for the duration of the series. Also, it probably means that superman won't be confined to flashbacks or minimized in later films either. You're using your personal feelings as an indicator for what might happen to a character and building theories that suit that. That's why people are reluctant to take them seriously.
 
Let's talk about the toy's we'll get for BvS. I want a Batmobile.

No, I've posted way back that Cacvill is incerdbly engaging in person. In all interviews I've seen him in. Including the January BAFTA where he said he hopes he can continue playing Superman.

I was disappointed that, IMO, that charisma he displays in peson did not come through in MOS. I've also said it may have been the poor script and the directing.

Uncle looks great. A great popcorn film and I mean popcorn in the best ense. Cavill could find this to be his breakout film.

The DCCU and Superman's future after JL1. It depends on how SS and WW and the others do.I f they outperform MOS then no, I don't think there will be more WB Sperman films. It has nothing to do with Cavill and everything to do with how the other films do vis a vis Supes.

Even if JL 1 is the last film WB does with Superman I think, based on Uncle, that Cavill has a potential great future.
