Landis had a very interesting concept for a Death of Superman cinematic adaptation, but it was so balls-to-the-wall crazy it came off more like a fanboy wet dream rather than a natural progression of the DCCU.

Regardless, the boy is incredibly passionate of the genre and would be a fresh voice for the series. I'd at least be curiously excited for what he could bring.

Back when WB was taking pitches, he came to them with a WW movie pitch as well. It was basically female Jason Bourne with Superpowers

and with Kevin Tsujihara making the DCCU a high priority, I definitely them going after the best guy for the job. And bringing Affleck aboard is gonna really raise the quality of these movies, I truly believe that.

Who doesn't want the best people? I've said countless times that I think it's time to faze Goyer out. Goyer has outlived his usefulness.
