Sorry man I hate this trailer. In fact I find the trailer disturbing. The first is see soldiers kneeling before Superman. That bothers me a whole lot. However this trailer urks me because it just seems like an excuse to let Batman beat the crap out of Superman.

"The whole do you bleed...you will" line was a load of crap and makes me want to puke. I can't believe that they are basically centering this all on batman as the hero and Superman just this evil alien. It also just seems like yet another film to appease hardcore Batman fans.

Yea I'm not happy right now. Not in the least bit. In the comics Superman is the hero that all other heroes inspire to be. However he seems more the villain then the hero.

No I hold to the same opinion I had when they first annouced Batman in this film. If anything it's deepen my reason for not to want to see this film.

When the world sees this trailer, it's gonna change everything; our... our beliefs, our notions of what it means to go see fan events... everything. You saw how El Maybe reacted, right? He was scared.

Forget Pa Kent. Remember the detonator scene from The Dark Knight? If we were in one of the two boats, it probably wouldn't have ended well; Joker would have won. We're just too weak.

I would say it is definitely other way around. Batman seems like antagonist in the trailer - "that’s how it starts... the fever, the rage, the feeling of powerlessness that turns good men… cruel".

Not to mention all the glorifying imagery of Superman in the light and descending like an angel. I guess it's true, when someone already made up their mind, they'll rationalize anything to fit their own narrative.

As a die hard Superman fan, I had no issues with the trailer. I assumed the 1st trailer would focus on Ben, given he's the new kid in this series. But saying that, while Henry didn't say anything, his presence was felt, and the whole opening of the trailer WAS ABOUT Superman.

Sadly, that is true for some (and I don't know what to make of people like that). For others, it's a bit more complex, though.
