Not sure why, but I feel like the oval completes the look if it's a blue and gray batsuit. But with a black and gray suit, I prefer no oval. I guess it's The Dark Knight Returns rubbing off on me.

i mentioned in the batsuit or affleck thread (thank god they're separate! ) that maybe they'll give him the oval for one of the justice league films just to mix his look up, ala cap, and i hope they do.

I don't know what I'm hyped more about, the Batsuit finally in color and looking amazing or the fact that it looks like an Enos portrait which means there are matching Superman and Wonder Woman ones.
