Fun Fact: Barbara Broccoli's ancestor, Bob Broccoli, invented the yummy vegetable that we now know as....

... the carrot.

So ElMaybe reported on the Popcorn Talk DC Movie News thing that the Batman/Joker/Quinn car chase is actually in BvS. That would be cool to hold him to.

I knew the name sounded familiar.

DIAMONDZ, where is that poll from?

Yeah, I saw that too! Sounds like it could be legit, but who knows for sure (besides the actors, David Ayer, and of course El Maybe:o)

This is probably a silly question but does anyone have access to a 4k display that can play the BvS trailer? I want to see if there's any sort of difference I notice with any screen grabs or gifs using 4k instead of 1080p. Or would I have to have a 4k device in order to see the difference in those screengrabs/gifs?

How do people feel about the 'Dawn of Justice' subtitle these days?

When it was first announced, I was disappointed that they didn't go with World's Finest" or something along those lines. However, as time has gone on it has grown on me and I am fine with it now.

I like the "Dawn of Justice" part a lot. It's a little corny at first, but after seeing the direction this is going, I love it. However, I'm still stuck on the "Batman v Superman" part. How are you supposed to say it? Versus? Verse? V? Zack said he didn't it want it to be a straight versus so I'm even more confused about how to actually say it.

If there were an actual 4k version of the trailer you might be able to tell a difference, but with a screenshot of a 1080p vid from a 4K display viewed from a 1080 display, I think it'll look the same.

I think...

This is a bit from left field, but it's about movie posters. In seeing those movie poster gifs posted on one of the threads here, it reminded me on how much I'd love to see moving movie posters at outside the theater. With the cost of flat screens being so low, I think the interest in a moving movie poster could really be a cool idea! The marketing companies could get pretty creative with it too. Thoughts?

They have a 4k trailer on youtube. But I can't view it on my pc cuz my monitor doesn't have that capability. So what I'm saying is if someone here has a 4k monitor or TV where they can view it, and they take a screen shot, will that screenshot still be better quality that a 1080p screenshot if it was posted on here for us to view? Wouldn't it just be a higher resolution?

The 4k trailer is just resized, it's not raw 4k. I've downloaded it (not from youtube), and Media Player Classic let you take screenshots of the original resolution, but it was just the same quality but resized.

VV beat me to it. It says 4K to get people to watch it, which worked quite well given the view count.

But I think you are correct, if it was true 4K then we could get a higher res screenshot.

Lex and Joker as the villains in BvS then? Where does his Doomsday scoop fit in? Why wasn't Superman in the scenes?

Joker would be in flashback if this is true. BvS finished shooting back in December. :funny:

I say versus. I also say tomato not tamatto. :o

Here is the link to the uncompressed version of the trailer. It is almost 1GB

I read that the events in Suicide Squad take place between MOS and BvS, so maybe the Joker/Quin car chase is a flashback. Hmm.

Both of those "scoop's" originated from the same guy. I'll let you guess who.

In fairness, there have been alot of rumors and speculation that there would be some Batman flashbacks in this movie to help fill in the gaps, since they are starting with an older Batman that's been fighting crime for a long time. It's possible that shooting the flashbacks with Leto now has been part of the plan for awhile, since they gave Batman V. Superman alot of post-production time.

I did read a rumor not long ago that Leto would be shooting a "Death in the Family" type scene during the Suicide Squad shoot, that would be used in BvS as a flashback scene. Probably unlikely, just random speculation but you never know.

Are they using the same camera setup? The same cinematographer? Is Snyder directing these flashbacks? ... Just saying it would seem unlikely to me that they would have another director and crew shoot a scene that is for BvS.

I understand how there could be speculation as far as flashbacks and what's been filmed for Squad and the Joker. But when I really think of it, it seems that there could be some legality issues to shut those rumors down. If Zack has certain rights to the Batman V Superman film, why would work under another director appear in that? Surely there has to be some technicality to all of it.
