Wow, so many goodies!

Love the cover shot as much as I could love an EW cover, haha. Seriously though, Gal looks amazing and I love that Wondy's got one hand clenched in a fist and the other holding her sword. No messing around, boys!

The face off and Supes in the crowd shots are also amazing. Henry looks more like Superman come to life than ever. And the colors look so rich and saturated - I cannot wait to see this on the biggest screen possible. :ilv:

Batman and Superman square off for the first time
If you’re going toe-to-toe with the son of Jor-El, you better come correct. For his climactic rooftop brawl with Superman, Batman outfits himself with a reinforced mech-suit equipped with strength-augmenting armor and, yes, kryptonite. The design resembles the one used for the confrontation between these two in Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.

Mr. Wayne, meet Ms. Prince
Batman and Wonder Woman have a meeting of alter-egos as Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince parry and flirt at a high-society function. “I love the fact that there was this Thomas Crowne Affair, Bond-y sexy scene that they wrote about two people who are pretending to be two different people who each know the secrets of the other person,” says Ben Affleck.

Man, alien, or God?
Henry Cavill returns to reprise his role as Superman from Man of Steel, but this time the point-of-view has shifted. “I like to think that Man of Steel was the perspective of the world from Clark, Kal-El, looking at the world and trying to exist with in it,” says Cavill. “Batman v Superman is definitely more mankind’s perspective of Superman.”

The dark Dark Knight
The grit and gray of Man of Steel was both a continuation of the attempted realism of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy and a counterpoint to Marvel’s bright, zippy playtime. And that was before Zack Snyder ever got to Gotham. “It means that when it was supposed to look rainy and miserable, it had to be rainy and miserable,” says Affleck of the high chance of precipitation on set. “The long dark night of the soul and whatnot.”

Would you Friend this man?
Jesse Eisenberg builds on his experience from The Social Network to play a billionaire with even grander schemes: Lex Luthor. And while his version of the villain might be sporting luscious locks in this photo, you can rest assured that the movie will feature that iconic chrome dome.

The new Batman and his director
With Batman v Superman, the enormous chassis of Warner Bros.’ new franchise is just starting to reach liftoff, but Zack Snyder has already been working on the DC universe for nearly five years. “It’ll be five years by the time the movie comes out,” says Snyder “And then if everything goes to plan it’ll be another five years of Justice League. I’ll be 10 years of superheroes by the end of this.” A decade of this man’s life.

Just felt like posting these again. :D

:lmao: Maybe is backtracking.

I hate to say it, but the BvS cover does say it's a double issue. So it's still possible that Deadpool will end up on a EW cover.

It wouldn't be the first time they did two (or more) covers for SDCC.

This one was a SDCC exclusive that year, available only at the Con:

And though SDCC centric, his one was the normal EW cover for that month:

And they had 3 more special edition covers that year individually representing Carrie, Orphan Black, and Ender's Game.

So yeah. I hate El Mayimbe as much as anyone, but he might still be right here.

Your avatar is the very definition of right.

If its wrong, then I don't want to be right :woot:

But I don't see how I'm a troll though, not like I'm posting fake breaking news or saying that everything about these new DC movies suck. I guess its because I don't like one movie that shallbecomeabat probably adores. Oh well. Agree to disagree.

I hadn't seen this until now.

I can see how Nolanites might consider you to be one. :woot:

Yeah I remember that now.

Me too. I guess for me, the Superman suit has such simple beauty that it doesn't seem like it would be tough to put on. Just shows the work put into these costumes.

This makes me wonder, what are the Snyder fans called?

Something that is probably too hard to pronounce for me to even try it.

But yeah, we do need a name. And not an insult name this time around.

:hmm

Bruce knows Diana but she ultimately ends up with Trevor?

That's a huge L if I ever saw one

Has this been asked yet? In the first pic, behind batman, whats that on the ground? His cape???

Probably a tarp that was covering the batsignal while Bats was home moping around.
