It might be worth noting that one of the horse riders DEFINITELY has a rifle on his back. So it's safe to say that these are probably the superman soldiers. I have no theories otherwise

If they have guns they might be the people the S soldiers gun down.

A mega-Franchise. The Marvel Studios model is the one to follow, to catch, and to beat right now, and so far, it seems like no one else can quite figure it out.

WB/DC and Fox are the only other studios that this can be referring to, it seems to me, but it makes no f***ing sense. Neither are far enough into their plans for anyone to say whether or not they've got it figured out. Otherwise, you're just Devin or El May throwing s*** and accusations at the wall.

You know, I wonder if the S guards are guarding some Luthor compound in the desert, which Batman and the trinity storm at the end. That could be the final act, and where Luthor has Supes bowing down.

I imagine Luthor's plan may be to unleash something from or hide something in this compound which he's gonna use to pull the final frame up on Supes. The S guards are to put the final nail in the frameup which would completely destroy Supes' rep?

The guards would shoot the people who show up in order to keep the secret compound secret?

yeah one does have a gun. I wonder if that hole in the ground is the Batcave and they come and raid it, capture Bats, take over the cave and then Supes comes in after that?

Ehhh... they've been a straight franchise, for the most part. If it's not a straight X-Men based film, it's Wolverine... who has basically been the star for the better part of the series. Now we're coming up on a time where we're seeing spinoffs for other characters (Deadpool, Gambit) and different teams (New Mutants, X-Force). It really is a new age for the X-franchise.

I'm not sure about the spinoffs other than the ones in production (that's only Gambit and Deadpool, AFAIK).

I think the future of the X-franchise might depend on Apocolypse. It needs to be good.

I liked but didn't LOVE DoFP. As such... I really have no desire to see any future X film outside of Deadpool. I really just don't care at this point for some reason.

I'd rank DOFP as the best Marvel movie I've seen thus far, tbh.

I liked First Class a lot better than DOFP. I'm not really sure why though, it just seems more fun to watch to me.

Though my fave X-Men film is still X2

Imo, DoFP wouldn't have been nearly as well received without A) the awesome ending in the fixed future and B) Quicksilver (who in my opinion was impressive mostly because the bar was set low in terms of expectations)

But this isn't the X-Men board, so no need to argue.

And I think Deadpool will be its own franchise if it's smart.

Yep, Looks legit to me. Keep in mind both of theses were motion concept art that basically appeared for only a second or two, that is probably why it is so damn blurry. The GL one looks like it is in the beginning of the sequence because not all the characters they showed are in the pic yet. The Flash one is right before we see The Flash in costume speed by. The costume concept art was Flash basically in a very similar position to this.
