Do you guys that Wayne Manor was attacked by a villain (Assuming that the said villain figured out Bruce is Batman)?

It seems like a hollow shell to me, with just the outer wall structures (you can sort of see through some of the windows, suggesting that the roof and the back portion of the Manor has been destroyed/deteriorated

Check 0:50 in the trailer:

Or did it just deteriorate because Bruce and Alfred abandoned it?

looks like it caught fire and the roof burned.

I think the latter theory is far more likely.

Bruce: "This is Wayne Manor. After the Crazy Quilt attack of '09, we just abandoned it instead of rebuilding it. CQ was pronounced quilty of all charges, but no legal sentencing can undo the harm done to this place."

Yeah, it seems like that. My first thought was Bruce setting it on fire (after Jason - or whichever Robin - 'died' - he really lost it, so burned down the mansion. At least tried to).

Either that or a super villain.

I think the latter theory is far more likely.

It's a rich mansion. Would it just deteriorate naturally like that, especially over a short period of time (Even if the mansion was abandoned for 20 years, I don't think it will cause the roof to deteriorate and collapse).

Those orphans that Bruce left the manor to were just animals!

I should clarify, I think it's been stated somewhere that it has caught in fire, but I don't think a villain did that. I think it'd be a combination of a lack of care and eventual abandonment.

Alfred forgot to dust the mantle one evening, and the dust caught fire and ruined everything

way to slack on the job, Alfred

CQ wasnt convicted because the true cause of the fire was:

What are you having on your burger? Plain, cheese or... JUSTICE?

Batman, Superman and GL have the most franchise potential of all the heroes

GL deserves a trilogy more than Aquaman, Flash or Wonder Woman. one Wonder Woman movie based sort of on the animated movie would be enough. If they could fit Cheetah in there in addition to Ares, that'd be cool too

Aquaman only needs one movie, his brother Orm and Black Manta try to take over and attacks the surface world. Aquaman narrowly saves his son at the end, but ends up sawing his hand off in order to do so

Flash can be some epic time travel/alternate dimension story taking cues from COIE and Flashpoint. Only one movie is really needed for the character

GL on the other hand

movie one can be about Sinestro's downfall, focusing on Hal and Sinestro's relationship and the new recruit John Stewart

movie 2 is about Hal Jordan's downfall, based on Emerald Twilight. Hal is infected by Parallax and goes rogue. Kyle Rayner , John and Guy team up against Hal.

movie 3 is the culmination, based on the Blackest Night saga. Nekron attempts to take over all life in all worlds, the different colored Lanterns have to team up and destroy him .

So I was re-watching Superman Returns the other day (don't hate please) and something struck me about it that MoS seemed to get criticized for.

In that there were a whole bunch of scenes where you saw Superman rescuing people and where he showed his "heroic side". This is something critics have said MoS didn't show enough.

Do you think we will see more of an attempt to show the "heroic" side of Superman in BvS?

Based on what?

WW is far more due at this point.

Most definitely.

But some here still believe he flies away from that lady reaching out to him. Lawd.

I don't imagine a WW trilogy really, one or two mvies would be enough

a movie with Ares as the villain and one with Cheetah

WW has surprisingly, a nice little Rogue's gallery to pull from to get at minimum three films out of.

Her films has the potential to be set in the past, present, future. I'm far more interested in a WW film over GL. Ya'll can blame Peter Sarsgaard. :oldrazz:

You seem to have a narrow view of these characters.

I don't understand how Flash only needs one movie and GL deserves a trilogy. Both properties are similar in the sense that they deal with the theme of "legacy" quite often, anyway, so you can explore that.

Don't use Wondy villains that's probably the one thing they should understand from the jump just don't
Giganta
Cheetah
Angle Man
Circe

Just nothing there to draw in GA imo I'd use a popular JL villain like Despero

So no using Wonder Woman villains in the Wonder Woman movie...right...

What's wrong with Circe?
I mean I get your point about Giganta and Cheetah, even if I don't fully agree, I can understand the cheese factor, though I think it can be worked around. But Circe seems fine. I think.

Because everyone knew who Talia, Ra's and Bane were in Nolan's trilogy before those films came out.

The only one on that list that is a bad choice is Angle Man. Circe is a great villain, Cheetah is versatile and even Giganta could be done in a way that isn't embarrassing.

Also in her rogue's gallery that could be used: Dr. Psycho, Queen Clea, The White Magician, Baroness Von Gunther, Dr. Poison, Veronica Cale...

And then you can also mine the Greek Olympian mythology for any number of forces to act as antagonists.

For anyone who got the Empire mag, was there anything else that was revealed in it that wasn't before?
