Seriously I can see it, just don't want a TLJ overacted version though.

Aquaman being locked away at Lexcorp was literally the basis of the introductory episode to Aquaman in the DCAU. It's a STAS episode called "A Fish Story" definitely recommended
All the teamup episodes of STAS (Dr Fate, Kyle Rayner, The Flash, Lobo, Batman) were great
If they want Aquaman to be a real badass they'd better have a very good argument to justify him being locked away somehow.
But with a massive wardrobe malfunction pleaseand maybe a little of this too...t:

The DCEU version of that will cause tornados that level buildings and kill fathers that are trying to protect their sons' secrets.

Hope not. I doubt they will - they have to work a bit with AM - General audience (particularly in US) thinks he's a joke, so starting off with him being captured isn't exactly the best way to go.
(Besides, how would Lex capture AM?).
The can say Aquaman has been attacking Lex's facilities (could tie the Oil rig fire in MOS to Lex and Arthur), and say Lex set a trap.
I've always wanted an Aquaman movie to open with news coverage of an oil spill, animals gunked up, being watched by the receptionist of the oil company at the front desk. She's interrupted when a large shadow looms over her. She looks up. Aquaman. Dripping wet. Spotted with oil.
"Who. Is. In. Charge?"

No joke... Wasn't that an ROBOT CHICKEN bit, with Nathan F. as the oil CEO? Happened after the BP spill in the Gulf?
LOL mayne!stop, invincible son!
This would have made MOS a 10 out of 10
