Really want to know how a flood of this magnitude even occurred in the first place:

Although something tells me that were going to have a scene with a montage of Superman going all over the world and saving the day which I am really excited to see.

Maybe even toppled with some watchmen style slo-mo cinematography shots on each one.

Maybe a gigantic large scale freeze breath takes place where people can walk off their roof and slide to safety

Most likely when you have people trapped like that in water that high either a dam or levy broke or there was a tidal wave. Probably a dam or levy.

Have to give them credit, they did an excellent job of painting the Superman shield on top of the house under such dire circumstances. not only to have the presence of mind to take paint up there but to be able to reproduce it with such accurate proportions.

I wonder if what is causing the fire also causes the flooding as well? Like is it all related or just Superman doing some regular saves in between what's going on???

A threat big enough to cause such widespread destruction. Also I doubt that all the heat vision shown in the trailer was from Superman. He wouldn't have used it on Batman, and then what is Wonder Woman protecting her self from as she crashes into the stone structures? Also notice the fire is like everywhere in all the shots.

It's like they are editing it in a way to trick us into thinking Superman is taking heat vision shots at Batman, but in reality some other threat bigger is probably the key to this. So much to ponder

We know Zod's body was used for experimentation. We know Lex has kryptonite.

Is this some type of new villain all together created just for the movie that escaped from Lexcorp as they couldn't contain it?

Is it Doomsday/Zod combined

I think you're reading too much into it. I think it's just a Supes/WW fight then a Batman/Supes fight... or maybe it's a WW & Batman/Supes fight.

But I doubt it's anything beyond that.

Well whether its Doomsday or Bizarro or even mr. mxyzptlk for the sake of argument i think that:

* Luthor creates something using various things (zods body, world engine remnants, zods armor etc.)

* It escapes from Lexcorp thus the fire in the Lexcorp building.

* i think that WW encounters the beast first, engages in it and easily loses, thus resulting in her stopping batman and superman from fighting and to form a truce in order to fight that beast that can level an entire city.

* trinity vs threat.

* threat defeated, trinity becomes allies, luthor denies involvement, Superman's considered a savior.

Thats my two cents in the third act of the film.

I'm not reading into anything as fact. Just questioning elements of the movie and curious in how things could be related, though not necessarily are. I wonder if the flood for example is a natural disaster or if something related to what is causing all the destruction, causes that. Also just what type of villain could it be smashing WW into the stones like that, and all these fires going on, and then the moment where a blast at Batman happens.. I don't think is Superman doing that.

Part of why I ask if this could be a newly created villain? Hell it could be Atomic Skull for all I know
