I expect there will be gliding. Take a look at this shot:

YzMcZnR.gif

Based on his trajectory, it certainly looks like he was gliding.

Besides, I don't imagine Snyder would want to give up the visual opportunities that gliding presents.

Yeah, gliding is one of the best things included in films when it comes to Batman, it wouldn't make sense to ditch it completely, especially after being established as part of the character in other mediums as well, such as "Arkham" games.

With that being said, given the noticeable size and weight of this Batman, I don't think he'll be able to glide as much as Nolan's Batman was, much less "Arkham" games' ridiculous long-distance ones. I expect his glides to be rather shorter and less graceful than that, closer to just being parachuted.

that was a cool scene. Reminiscent of the 007 Bond film sea rescue scene in Thunderball. The CIA/armed forces really had that system of rescue...

Just need a neck brace after that.

I'm waiting through a panel for the awful Goosebumps movie just for the DC All Access panel that comes next.

Please let this be worth it.

I just realized something... we all know that the scene takes place at this location:

q4vNCBM.jpg

I mean, that yellow metal frame is a giveaway. But I always assumed that he was breaking in, still how come that there are neon lights on a ceiling behind him? It would appear that he is actually breaking out, if there weren't for the metal frame... could be that the window separates one room from another:

YzMcZnR.gif

Edit: I just downloaded the gif and studied every pic separately... it would appear that those neon lights are simply reflection in the window from the room he was breaking into.

Do you guys think that's an entire CG Batman in the DKR homage shot? I know there's still rendering time yet, but right now it does bug me how glossy it looks- and it doesn't look too far off from the obvious CG Superman/Zod shots in MoS that bugged me, so I feel fairly comfortable calling it out. It just kinda perplexes me because it looks like something that would've been totally possible to shoot with an actor on green screen at the very least.

It's just a bummer because composition wise, Snyder is really ace. But when you have a obvious CG in there, the brain can't un-notice it and it takes you out of it. At least me, anyway.

I thought the same thing, and came to the same conclusion.

This one is the most CGI looking scene in the trailer to me:

Can't exactly point my finger on it, but there's a certain video gameish look to it.

Anyway, I assume that those has been polished since the trailer. With so much time for post-production, there's no excuse not to do so.

Just this scene has changed since the teaser to the full trailer:

Different background.

Does that rocket have the Lex OS symbol on it?

Does that rocket have the Lex OS symbol on it?

It's a Roscosmos rocket (Russian NASA, basically), but from what I could find their logo looks like this:

Logo_FKA_rus2.jpg

And the Roscosmos writing is oddly missing from the rocket in full trailer for some reason.

By the way, it's Sunday, I am sipping tea in the comfort of my home and having way too much free time on my hands, so I noticed something else in the window-breaking scene:

o547ee.jpg

Could be nothing, but there's some angular-shaped thing in the sky. Perhaps batwing...?

It just took me a while to do so. Always been a slow learner. :woot:

Lol, that's funny because I never noticed it until this morning looking at that gif. So me too :woot:

As far as the CG, I too feel like some of the scenes look a little unpolished, but I don't think they were finished at the time of that trailer. Will they be perfect when it's released? Probably not, but I do think they will look better.

The effects in MOS were some of the best in any CBM, imo, so I don't think Zack or anyone else is going to settle for mediocre with BvS.

Well, they certainly have had enough time to polish it to perfection (not that I'm expecting any, as well), and I know that it's not much of a difference, but the scene of Superman holding the rocket looks better and more natural to me in the full trailer than in teaser, nevertheless.

Oh, and I agree about effects in MOS. Some great attention to detail as well.

The other way around for me. :woot: In the teaser the colours are more deep, while in the full trailer they look washed out. Specifically in that russian rocket scene.

There you go. Can't make everyone happy. :woot:

In the trailer, that scene looks like it could belong in MOS, so I like the visual continuation there. I still don't think it is as washed-out as those scenes at the military base in MOS were, though, despite there being similarity.

It looks fine to me. The thing is… we expect Superman to be able to move/fly with a speed and fluidity that is unrealistic and uncanny - that defies comparisons to anything we’re familiar with. So IMO, it doesn’t much matter whether the scene is done with a real actor against green screen or is 100% CGI. The action - by its very nature - is going to appear fantastical.

Indeed. :woot:

And to add to your previous post about this :

Then Supes arrives, chases him for a bit, ****s up the Batmobile and that is how I think they meet for the first time.

@Angel0fDeath

I am of same mind, about the location and how it plays out.

Agreed, I hope and i'm pretty sure we will see Bats glide.

I can't wait to see more Batman footage. He looks so good in the clips we have.

I c''t wait to see the next trailer. Also, don't forget to come in the sawyer/naked shia deathmatch thread tomorrow if you wanna be entertained!
