I have to say that I'm disappointed that in 0 images we have seen from WW (trailers, official pics, concept arts leaked and officially released, merchandise, etc)... she uses the lasso or just holds it
Too much sword and shield

EDIT: She actually holds it in one of the concept art from that video, my bad. But still.

Think of it like that moment in Godzilla when he uses his atomic breath...seeing it for the first time in theaters was awesome...probably wouldn't be awesome if it was in all the trailers and TV spots

If WW uses her lasso they may wait for you to see it in the movie

Probably saving it for the actual movie ... I'm fine with that.

Seeing the actual power of the lasso in action... yeah, that should be saved
But it should be more proeminent at least in the collectibles
The lasso should be her primary weapon but is not being presented that way thus far
It wouldn't hurt to have her holding the lasso like this in one statue

I'm not mad or anything, just disappointed
I'd also like more use of the "crossing bracelets pose"

They may have just wanted to put the image out there of Wonder Woman's combat abilites to counter any ideas that may have seeped into popular culture.
I don't know many people in my real life who could tell you anything about her. They may, like Aquaman, have an inaccurate antiquated view.
Just a thought.

It just kinda feels it's going to be like that in the movie too, at least in BvS. And you can bet that might rub people the wrong way. I don't have anything against WW using a sword (although not all the time), but lots of people have, be it diehard fans or casual fans. People could say she's too violent or they are just trying to do Xena.

We'll see, but so far I believe her fighting skills in BvS will be based in the sword (and the shield, which I don't like because of the bracelets and the aesthetics) and very little in the lasso. It will probably be used, but maybe not in combat. Gal did say she was still "practicing on the lasso" and talked more about sword techniques, which makes me believe in all that.

So if you throw this really really hard.

Will it come back?
Oh that reminds me. I hope we get alot of bat gadget action. All the different batarangs and tools on his utility belt.

Yea me to. snyder confirmed his ability will mostly come from his physical prowess, but he has to even the field when it comes to heavily armed guys. He employs sticky grenades and a grappling hook so I'm hoping we really see his gadget reptiiore.

No, she's jumping for the picture :mnm:
But seriously, if Gal said she just "jumps so high that is basically flying", I don't think she flies

Yup. I'm sure Gadot would say that she is able to fly, if she were indeed able to fly, instead of "jumping high" expression she used. There's no reason for them to hide something like this and deliberately misinform us. Not everything is a conspiracy.

What's the problem now?

I wouldn't put much weight into what Tyson said. His involvement with the film was minimal. He read those lines for the voiceover and that was likely it. Perhaps he has a small cameo as a guest on a talk show or something but I seriously doubt he has any insight into the rest of the film. This iteration of Bruce Wayne seems to be more involved in the creation of his gadgets than Nolan's version. He probably isn't relying as much on Fox. If at all.

It was supposed to be out this year. :waa:

I still remember the day they pushed it back. I was so relieved they were taking their time, but I didn't anticipate how hard the wait would be. I've actually had nightmares where I go blind just before the release. I have no money, a chronically ill girlfriend, and an incredibly stressful worklife. But the thought of missing this movie...that's what keeps me up at night.

Adulthood.

I remember the push back being used as evidence that WB had no plan and it's ironic and funny how it was very much the opposite of that.
