Eh, I always thought Riddler was lame as hell. Not even the arkham games can make him good.

Give me a better version of Freeze tho.

They've already hinted at him. And what about the Penguin? Riddler's been on screen since Penguin has.

I'm not a big fan of the Penguing, so I don't care much if we get him or not. Riddler on the other hand is one of the best ways to show Batman's detective skills. Really hope we get him in one of the solo movies.

That thicker heat vision blast is probably the only good justification of the OMAC theory. Zod's corpse doesn't link to OMAC too tidily, or not half as well as it does to Doomsday -- or any mutant creation made out of kryptocells. Then Doomsday makes for a more exciting visual than Bizarro, who would basically be a pale Superman, if he's even given a costume. It would have been easy for the artist guy to be misleading on purpose if he wanted to, for the film's benefit. Or to have been asked to be.

IMO Riddler would be awesome if they made him more like Jigsaw from the Saw movies

Riddler's lameness is pretty much what makes the character... I guess "interesting" would be the word. Though I always wanted them to make him more competent, darker and vicious in films, basically I wanted a film with Riddler as main villain, but he'd be quite similar to Zodiac. I suppose that making him a serial killer is a bit of a deviation of the character, but I think it would work wonderfully with him despite that. As he is, I can't see him as the main villain.

I can dig this.

A Riddler version of John Doe would be great.

Batman: What's in the box?!

Gordon: Keep away.

Christopher Waltz as the Riddler. I'm calling it now. Tarantino can write him.

Does Zod's corpse have to link to any villain though? I feel like they only showed him in the trailer to increase the mystery and speculation. He's probably just there so Lex can test kryptonite on something, at least in terms of his role in a physical capacity.

For a darker Riddler story, you should read "Dark Knight, Dark City" if you haven't. Altough you might be put off by some of it, and I think I still prefer a more classic Nygma.

I think STAS's version was just perfect for me. Especially his look.

Audience watching Batman v Riddler: Dawn of Sudoku
Guy #1: ooooh Tarantino wrote this.
Guy #2: Um...The Riddler is quite liberal with his use of the word "Mother#$%^er"
Guy #1: Did he just say the n-word?

Okay, maybe scratch Tarantino

I haven't. I just glanced the synopsis of it and not just that I wasn't put off by it, but it's the kind of ****ed up s**t I love! Reminds me a lot of Hellblazer, actually. I am definitely going to read this. Thanks a lot for recommendation.

:hehe: No problem.

I posted this on another thread: my ideal Batman trilogy:

For the first movie, I'd like to see Penguin be the central antagonist, and have him place a bounty on Batman's head, which causes Deadshot and Deathstroke to pursue him. Nice, simple premise for the first. Have Penguin mention that he's jostling with Black Mask and the Joker for turf. Feature Harvey Dent in a supporting role

For the second, the main villain be Red Hood who's gunning for Black Mask, with Joker and Harley Quinn thrown in the mix. The gang war subplot is further developed with Penguin making a small appearance. Harvey becomes Two-Face at the end, leaving a cliffhanger for part three.

In the third, a full blown gang war erupts between Joker, Penguin, Black Mask, and the new kid on the block, Two-Face. Batman, Red Hood, and others are caught in the thick of it.

That would be my ideal, albeit it may be a bit too much.
