The WW hat is kind of neat in that virtually no one that isn't a comic book or superhero film fan will associate it with the character. Adds a bit of mystery to it, i.e., nerdism isn't quite as transparently on display.

You could use it to talk about Wounded Warriors too.

Well, hopefully things will change in terms of public recognition of the WW logo after BvS. I really, really hope that it is a great film and does tremendous box office. If it is a smash then that logo will become a lot more recognizable, I should think. But anyway use of the WW logo on the hat now, even if relatively obscure (compared with Bats and Supes) is probably geared toward increasing its exposure for the eventual WW standalone.

Supposedly it is of Trevor's grandfather in WWI. That's what I'm reading, anyway. That and that the character played by Saïd Taghmaoui may be Dr. Fate. I have no idea what the latter speculation is based on, though.

Here is the reason for the Dr. Fate speculation. He let it slip that he would be playing a "superhero." Although there is mention of possible poor language translation for that term.

It's basically a fancy version of the established WW logo. The reason people might not recognize it is because they aren't familiar with her logo, not because of the designers.

Did someone say that the Superman figurine's face is malleable, and can change expressions? Is that just a speculation? It does sort of look that way in the picture.

Reason I ask is that, if so, then to me this would add a bit of weight to the evil clone Superman theory. (And not for nothing, then kids would be buying not one, but two, Superman figures to play with.)

The world's greatest heroes are assembled to form the Justice League, to combat a threat beyond each individual's capabilities. The story involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that’ll move Apokolips into the Earth’s place.

The site gets the dates right almost always, but plot log lines are much less reliable. So take the plot details with grains of salt but you can count on June being the start date. Makes sense, let the actors finish up press tours by April, a months break, then back on set.
