At least in BvS, the no makeup thing has the excuse of being a dream sequence. But this scene was just f***ing stupid. It was really bad because the scene cut away from Bruce (when his mask was still on) and when it cut back, you could see the eye makeup disappear right before he ripped the mask off. Also, his mask is apparently made out of latex. Some protection there, Brucie.
