I can't believe some people are saying he doesn't look like doomsday. My 3 year old son watched the trailer and immediately screamed "oh no! Doomsday!" when he saw him jump on screen.

So going by the damage on the wall I guessing we go from here:

to here:

I mean... When you watch reaction videos the people doing them seem to all know it's Doomsday. Frankly, I don't get hating on the look. Seems fine to me.

So does anyone here have any theories as to what the MoS genesis chamber has to do with doomsdays creation?

Is the Doomsday virus from krypton?
Lex probably uses it to create Doomsday

Large monster fights Superman... you are going to think Doomsday :D I see the potential if the spikes grow out. I suppose it's a bit moot as I'm just happy to have a huge powerful physical villain for them to take on

Hmm just looking through the trailer again, does anyone else think that the building Doomsday crashes through is the Detroit Train Station where they also filmed Batman vs Superman's fight scene ?

Also you can see that where they are fighting doesn't look like the middle of a city, it looks like it's on the "docks" of either Gotham or Metropolis.

I know why people didn't like Trailer 2 as much. It was lacking cape porn.

The trailer gets better each time I view it.

It was lacking that Snyder touch.

This was the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Casual trailer. :o

All this negativity about the newest trailer is really killing my hype for this film.

I have no doubt that I'll love it, but that's not what matters if we want to get more of these. It's how audiences as a whole respond. And I fear that people (critics at least) are gonna tear this film apart.

There's already a TON of bias against WB/DC and this film. It'll likely take one thing going wrong (majorly or not) to tank it for many.

Eh, who knows, maybe this trailer un-hyping some of us is a good thing. Lowering our expectations to a safe place.

Eh... I think it's the nerd parade that's being overly negative (and it's mostly about two things but really the last 40 seconds..) while everywhere else the feedback has been very good.

And pray tell in what way are critics gonna tear this film apart

I seriously want to know how critics gonna tear this film apart?

I don't think a lot of the negativity is that heart felt. People are skeptical and concerned, but I think most are leaning more positive which is good considering all the heat MOS got. WB is clearly making efforts to address problems some people had, and I think that effort is at least being acknowledged.

C'mon, man. You know critics will find a way to tear this film down. Hell, any film can be torn down by critics. As long as you enjoy it, that's all that matters.

And yeah, I know I need to heed my own advice, as I let people who constantly tear down Man of Steel irk me.

65% rt score I think will be enough to make this a critical success for a dc movie
