Why all merch looks lame nowadays, I mean during the time of Batman Begins and SR, there was a ton of interesting product tie ins and merch.

Still early tho.

We will get some cups. Count on it. :woot:

Yeah, but it was in a very unbatmanish way, given he went along with a lie. that protected a killer.

I don't think Batman would compromise that way in any other incarnation, and that version doing so is more born out of the Rachel side of the story.

I think Batman was trying to protect the man Dent was and not let the Joker win. He admired Dent as the 'white knight of Gotham' before Rachel's death and the Joker's mind games sent Harvey completely nuts.

It was unbatmanish in some of the comics depiction of the character but I could see why Nolan's version of Bruce would go along with it after just losing Rachel

Say what you will about the movie
But these mugs were the ****.

^ The scale is awesome indeed.

In fact i hope Doomsday is as tall compared to Superman as Darkseid is in that image, that would be dope.

Doubting the bolded

He didnt.
Having just watched their fight in STAS the one with the line "I am many things Kal-El, but here I am God." and they were about the same height.

Though when he returned from the grave in JLU I recall Superman needing to aim shots higher than normal. And Darkseid aiming strikes lower in his appearance before that.

It does make me wonder what Doomsday's scale really is. I can't eyeball it from the trailer. I hope that he's in the ballpark of around 9 feet tall to allow Darkseid to be a bit taller.

I only ended up getting two of those glasses and I'm still mad about it.

That's...... meh.

Yeah, pretty lazy effort on those two.
Those aren't the actual covers. :oldrazz:

All issues will be inside a polybag and come in three cover versions: pencilled, inked and coloured. It's basically the same theme with the Harley Quinn variants this month.

That's kinda cool i guess.

Btw now that X-men Apocalypse has a new poster it gets me pumped to see what the theatrical poster for Batman v Superman will be. :hmr:

yeah I'm surprised we haven't gotten an official theatrical poster for BvS yet

only 3 months away

It would be awesome if they made a theatrical poster of just Batman & Superman recreating this iconic shot.

I fear the next BvS poster will spoil the whole plot. :o

Honestly I still to this day don't get why folks keep saying that all over the internet just because we saw Doomsday.

I mean it was basically the synopsis we saw.

This one was done nicely.

It's needless to mention how on point it is.

You should see Grace Randolph's breakdown and comment about the "spoiler" complaints it's got. She's the last person I thought would be hyping up and defending this movie after this trailer.

I'd have a heart attack if Nick Mundy defends BvS.

Oof, almost a kiss of death to have her on the movie's side. :oldrazz:

Proof that she's just an annoying contrarian though.

Well, glad to hear that she's coming to her senses, but, nah, I shouldn't see anything Grace Randolph related. Not anymore.

I don't know if you tried (emphasis on "try") to watch her review of newest trailer... yeah she was rather positive, but the nonsensical things she's been saying, conclusions she's been making... I was lost in the first two minutes. It's impossible to describe. Actually, it still rings in my head when it's silent.

:hehe:

It just surprised me. She loves to nitpick so I imagined she would be aall over this. But I can't really trust her judgment. It's all over the place like Campea's.

Yea. It's that judgement I can't trust. At one point she has me and then she loses me.

It's mind boggling how many people on the internet, particularly Facebook, believe Jesse isn't playing "the real Lex" and will get angry or mock you if you suggest otherwise.

It's those same people that rummage around sites MoviePilot and Reddit on a daily basis.

They just can't accept Jessie as Lex unfortunately. :csad:

Yeah, though I'm not surprised. It was a given that many people will come to wrong conclusion since they called him Alexander Luthor Jr.. Add to that the dissatisfaction with the casting and approach to the character many people have, so they're trying to grasp at straws and believe this is not the real Lex and there you get it.

I also saw a theory that Eisenberg is playing an Earth-Three Lex:

Just as mind-boggling as all of the vocal Internet commentators who claim that the latest BvS trailer "spoiled the whole movie", among other things.

The Internet is both a gift and a curse. It's a great source of information and discourse, but it also allows so many idiots to have an "audience".
