A chemical fanboy mixture of talented actor + plus comic book accuracy = good choice.

He's a sorta okay actor and looks as much like the character as anyone with a strong build, long hair, and a mustache. Just seems more like a guy that's been on fanboy wishlists for a long time. He could be using a walker with the tennis balls on the feet and some of you guys would still be like "...Yeah but make up and CG have come a long way."

Looks are important of course, but make up can fix what an actor lacks. I base my choices on the actor's ability more than anything else.

Yeah, I like Trejo a lot, and 10 or 20 years ago he'd have been great, but for Lobo I'd want someone who could bring a physicality to the role and not have to have every aspect of their action scenes be CGI, and I just don't think Trejo has that physicality anymore.

I have a feeling the concept art is just there to wet our appetites and they'll reveal a full picture of everyone in costume. Could be wishful thinking, but it would be cool if they showed the concept art and the picture morphed into the real actors doing the same poses.

Because you're so focused on their age instead of thinking how they can perform in the role and look under the the right make up and are forgetting that Lobo is more of a weapons guy than just hand to hand fighting. These two actors can easily still fire off shotguns.

I understand it may not be such a good idea if Lobo gets his own film franchise his email after all but if he'said simply a minor character in the other films then there's no problem at all.

As if age won't affect the performance. Just not interested in an old guy playing such an active role. Plenty of younger and more talented actors that could easily take on Lobo without having to rely on "movie magic" to make the performance convincing.

He hasnt aged that badly though, He still actively does action films and if he did use one in real life, it wouldn't be on film anyway.

The very idea that Superman wouldn't be there for the Justice League was ridiculous as hell. But if this pic finally puts your mind in ease, I'm glad that's the case.

I tell you a Superman movie I'd love to see one involving Mongul and War World.

I'm with you man and I'll check out your thread soon to post my idea but I just love Lobo and kind of marked out to see that tweet. Who knows, but atleast a reach out is there. I'm entirely all in with Lobo and he's a perfect DCEU villain in the way they are setting it up.
